BH2.3 – Open Top Multi-Fit Belt Holster Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

About a year ago I purchased a 1791 holster for my Sig 226. At the price point I really wasn’t at all sure of what kind of quality I would get. What I did get was vastly more than I expected. After about a year or more of EDC, my holster has retained 100% of its form and function. Except for a small amount of scuffing at the barrel end caused by the seat belt latch in my vehicle, it looks as beautiful today as when it was sent to me. Retention is still spectacular–there’s just enough tension that the gun doesn’t fall out by accident, but not so much as to impede a quick, smooth draw. I can say without reservation that this is the finest holster I have ever used.

I have bought several holsters (4), they are well made and would make anyone wanting a leather holster a wonderful holster. They are well made, great leather and double stitched. Something to be proud of.

My sons got me this holster, by my request, for Christmas, and I could not be more satisfied. It works equally well with my Glock 23, my HK VP9, and my HK VP9sk. The quality of the leather is second to none. It is very well stitched, and molded to fit the guns like a glove. Gun retention is very good. I would recommend 1791 holsters for anyone who wants a high quality leather holster.
