I ordered this holster almost almost 2 months ago and still have not received it. It has been on back order and I knew this going in so I am in no way mad, but I contacted Tactical Gear through their Live Chat to get an update and Brooklyn was EXTREMELY helpful. She explained that the manufacturer is backed up and they do not have a time frame on when it would be available yet, so Brooklyn took care of me and also sent me another coupon to use in the future for having to wait. While this review is more about the customer service, I have had a level 2 Blackhawk holster for many years and it has never let me down. I am more than sure this one I am waiting for will also live up those standards.

I actually had to alter mine just a little b/c the H&K USP 45 frame is slightly taller then a USP 40 is. Had to carve away two small rails that touched the bottom of the trigger guard and forced the gun to be way too tight in the holster. Once that was remove there were no other issues. I love the security of this holster. Its great that the gun is secure when you just place it back in the holster with out having to button a snap or close a hood. This holster also does allow for the H&K to be carried in the cocked position with the safety on (cocked and locked) or de-cock with no safety.

I thought I'd save money and bought a Blackhawk knock off from Israel I wore it one shift and sent it back, You know the old saying: "you get what you pay for". Nothing beats the real deal. Stay with a Blackhawk.

I am a police officer for a large city. I have used a SERPA Level 3 for a SIG 229 for the last 6 years. It has survived numerous fights, taken hard impacts and rain. The exterior is a little beat up but the draw is still smooth and the thumb and finger lock still work as smooth as the day I bought it. It protects the gun and places your fingers well when the gun clears the holster. Great holster!

I have searched for 4 years to find the perfect holster for myself while on duty. When I found this site, it was like the clouds had opened up for me. It gives me a very natural and comfortable draw for my weapon. I am extremely happy with this holster.

Sig a super holster and almost great. However, the thumb release requires some minor work. The paddle, which teases the hood, is too flexible whereby it should be stiffer. Being stiffer would afford greater control on the release.

Excellent retention, clamps tight on your duty belt so that is doesn't slide around and can be removed without sliding everything else off your duty belt.
Allows quick acquisition of proper shooting grip in the holster and, once accustomed to it, comes out of the hoster effortlessly.
The SERPA mechanism locks into the front of the trigger guard, so the Xiphos light (not great) is offset to allow this. It's the only drawback.

The holster performs very well, just have to get use to the lower ride, and the fact that it protrudes out more.
Very easy to get the weapon out and to return it to the holster.

I wanted a holster that would protect my rear sight. Also, it fits my Glock 21 absolutely perfect. No wiggle or rattle. I like everything about this holster. The best!!
