Before designing the M16 EDC Tanto Folding Knife, Columbia River Knife & Tool asked consumers what they wanted in a folding knife. The result? A durable, powerful EDC essential that won’t break the bank. This knife is built with a three-inch stainless steel tanto-style blade with three-point partial serration. This blade is tough enough to slice through webbing, cord and vegetation rapidly. The glass-filled nylon handle feels comfortable in your palm and offers a powerful grip for sure performance at all times. In terms of functionality, the M16 features a liner lock that automatically sets a pin between the frame and the locking liner, making the locking liner less likely to disengage during use. When you are ready to disengage, simply pull down the pin, slide over the liner lock and fold the blade home. A Carson flipper makes opening the blade just as simple.

The knife I had before this was the old stand by Gerber knife which was a great knife but it always lost it's sharp edge too early. I have not had this knife that long and I realize it cost more than the Gerber but I like the positive lock and it does seem to hold its edge must better than my former knife.

The knife is a good knife, with good features. The only problem is that it seemed bigger, and there was no indication about the blade length. I was expecting a 5 in blade when it is only 3 in.

You can’t find anything better for an everyday carry knife, small frame with little to catch on, very little weight on this knife unlike others. I should of bought two

This is a very nice every day carry. Light clips well to inside pocket. Have had a lot of problems with the blade locking out. I have needed to use another tool to push the lock back out. It will go to far back and lock on the other side of blade. Pain in the butt. Expected better quality.

I go through knives at work. I chose this one for the weight and
sharpness it holds.
