The bladder IS NOT easy to insert whether it's full or empty, i.e. the opening at the top/front is a really tight fit and the flap is stitched too low.. The bladder holding tabs inside at the top are also difficult to attach for the same reason..
The true dimensions of the pouch are 16.5"H×8.5"W×1/2"D..
When the bladder is full the pack depth will increase to 3" but only in the center of your back, so consider that before attaching it to the back of your vest, especially if you plan on carrying any kind of backpack over it. Probably best to hang it from the back or side of your pack with some grimlocs etc..
The hose port has such a tight fit that you will have to remove the entire drinking valve (or even cut it off) in order to completely remove the bladder from the pouch..
The straps are fine but I'm guessing the double sided plastic clips would be the first things to break or wear out. I have no intention to find out so I'll be modifying this pack in a few ways before I decide if I'm going to keep it or sell it off and go buy a different piece of equipment..

I use this in a long range rifle course in the desert and it was a great way to stay hydrated in temps that were nearing 100. Fluids stay cooler longer due to the insulation. I highly recommend this product.

The Condor Oasis Hydration Carrier comes complete with Reservoir that's easy to fill, is handy on long hikes. I should have purchased is carrier long ago.
