Needs to be ambidextrous. Set up as is for concealed pocket to be on left when swung around in front. Company said this was so operators could hang their long guns from right side. If it were set up for right side too, it would be better for personal security uses. Also, company suggested AR500 hard panels for the ballistic pouch but these are very heavy and probably would wear it out quickly. If that is your plain definitely need ceramic plate. Otherwise, this pack is very well built and the floating sling strap is a great design!

Good product, but it went on sale two (2) days after I purchased it. Would have been $12 cheaper.
