With the Lasermax LMS-1441 Guide Rod laser, you don't need a gunsmith or your gun's manufacturer to install your laser sight. Simply field strip the firearm and install the top-of-the-line attachment to Beretta and Taurus models. This rugged, high-intensity laser system replaces the factory spring guide assembly in your firearm and improves your target acquisition and follow-up shots. The sight features an internal design that doesn't impact your holster choice or firing grip and resists recoil shock and harsh environments, making it a great attachment for duty weapons. Because the sight is centered (unlike many sights that are positioned on one side), the aiming point doesn't produce parallax error, providing the most accurate sight picture available. A controlled, ambidextrous activation switch makes this product work for left- and right-handed shooters and prevents the sight from turning on unexpectedly.

I did not think this product would incorporate so well into my gun . Looks like a factory assembly . Has ambidextrous on/off switch , incorporated into gun body ! This way , you can holster gun , with no complications .
GREAT !

I had been wanting a quality laser but didn't like the external mounted because of the holster issues, this is perfect, anyone can install it if they can field strip their weapon. I would recommend it.

The LazerMax in my Beretta FS 92 works well when the pistol is warm, but in cold weather the laser when switched on gives one short emission only...then nothing. When body contact raises temperature of pistol after about an hour of concealed carry, then laser starts working normally again. The problem remains even when I install new batteries.

The rounded edges on the battery cap made it very hard to install.
