This pads the shoulder strap that I have on my Maxpedition 12"x5" water bottle pouch which I keep my camping coffee French press, stove, and accessories in. Works very well.

Am using a pair as waistpads for backpacks under 38L w/ 2" waist strap webbing. Plenty of support & comfort for smaller backpacks.
