With a lightweight, low-profile design, the Maxpedition Remora Gearslinger is loaded with pockets and attachment points. This bag features internal loop fields in the main compartment and rear pocket for concealed carry use without giving away the firearm's profile. The shoulder strap is fully ambidextrous and can be concealed in the rear compartment. Multiple rows of modular webbing on the exterior provide attachment points for additional Maxpedition accessories. This bag is made from a 1,000 denier ballistic nylon fabric that has been treated with DuPont Teflon and a triple polyurethane coating to resist water and grime. It also comes with high-grade closed-cell foam padding that absorbs impact and shock to protect the contents. Compact and resilient, this bag provides convenient storage space for your gear.

This bag, like every other Maxpidition I own, is awesome. I’m in the woods or on the water every day with my job, and these bags are tough. Maxpidition is more expensive, but you get what you pay for.
The Remora is small, but that’s why I bought it. Think of a standard sized bible 7’x9’, and that’s the size of the main compartment. My Glock 26 fits perfect for off duty carry, with plenty of room for other items. Lots of pockets and MOLLE attachment loops, high quality zippers and material, and several carry options. It’s exactly what I expected.

I've been using the Remora for a little over a month now for EDC use. For its size/category it works perfect for my minimum EDC gear requirements (Compact CCW, Fenix LD20 Flashlight, Surge multi-tool, level 1 first aid kit). Due to its size limits I can't squeeze much more in it though and I would not personally consider or recommend it for a "day-hike" pack. I am very pleased with the product, it's durable and made of quality material. I also appreciate the overall design in that it has the look and feel of a "guy bag" but doesn't appear too conspicuous to stand out as a "tactical" bag. You can sling this pack over your shoulder or back and you truly don't stand out in a crowd. I am however considering upgrading to the Luanda to gain a little more in size but have no complaints about the Remora.

I have to say that I carry concealed, and determined the main reason i purchased this everyday bag. It has enough compartments to store stuff on an "as needed basis" meaning stuff you access quite a bit, the front 2 pockets are easy to get into, and the stuff you just keep with you can go in the big one and accessed as needed.

The concealed carry holster, an option you need to purchase separately if you plan on carrying, is an ingenious little piece of velcro that adjusts to hold any size firearm from 22- 45 discreetly.

The material is all ripstop, and I have never had an issue with tearing or zipper malfunction, however the little ties that come in the zippers tend to come un-tied sometimes, but its no big deal.
The bag is an over the shoulder cross carry bag that adjusts from tight enough to run with to loose enough to carry everyday.
Its this man's man-bag of choice!

I love Maxpedition gear and this one is another winner. The size is perfect to carry essentials like wallet, sunglasses, multi-tool, small notepad and pen and a surefire flashlight. If you like outside carry, the back pocket fits just about any 9mm weapon nicely, although concealment may not be total for some models. The only thing I wish they added is a shoulder pad on the strap. Other than that, nobody is going to call you a wuss if you pick this as your man-bag of choice. Even in Europe, where carrying a bag is the norm for men, this little gem looks great. Of course, the weapon concealment pocket is useless in the continent where only some cops can carry, but the space can be used for maps.

I love Maxpedition gear and would always recommend it to anyone looking for high quality tactical bags. This little guy is a very nice EDC bag. Little on the expensive side, but again, if you know Maxpedition quality some would argue it's totally worth it. I have several Maxpedition bags and this one, like the others, is very cool, very solid, and well organized. It could use a few extra compartments but it is a pretty small bag and you can only cram so many compartments in such a small package. All in all though it's a great bag.

This bag is very well made of high quality materials. With the Molly webbing I can add other pouches to personalize the bag for my gear. I believe this is the best bag that I have purchased. I love it!!
