I've got/had several brands and this is the best I have found, after a year of use they're starting to wear thin on the finger tips and thumb, but still good to go. The dexterity is the best I've had, I can reach in any pocket and feel and get whatever I need. I can tie my shoes, sort through paper, handle my keys and cuff key easily, use a phone and the grip on palm allows me to handle inmates who are combative and the leather palm keeps fluids from getting on me. They're labeled level 2 PPE. I gave my $50 vertex away, but these are the best I've had out of about 7 gloves from 5 different manufacturers. When put together, they're nice and thin, can barely notice they're in your pocket. I highly recommend. I'm 6'2" and my hand is 8" from middle finger to base of my palm and I wear a large. Hope this helps.

I used the 0.5 mms for a bit, they're good, but no grip on palms. But these recons have superb grip with the leather palms. Great dexterity and nice and thin wrist cuffs to cut down on bulk. My only grip is I wish the fingers fit a bit tighter, it's not bad, just really tight to fingers is my preference. I use these at the prison all the time for altercations, searches and anything else requiring gloves. I highly recommend and these will be my new go to gloves. I really like the viktos also.i wear large in both. I'm 6'2" and my hand is 8" from tip of mid finger to base of my palm/ start of wrist

I bought a large, same as all my other gloves, and can barely squeeze my hand. And the leather is very thin. I'm sure they're meant to be very tactile but that thin seems flimsy. Especially when they are so tight you're afraid of ripping them putting them on. If you buy, I would definitely recommend a size bigger than usual.

I bought these for fall bird hunting. I can easily handle shotshells and they are just heavy enough to provide a bit of warmth on an Autumn hunt
