I would personally prefer a looser fit in the thigh and crotch area, but these still allow for plenty of comfort when moving. They are not as constricting as the Apex, more moreso than the Tac-Lite Pro. I always do the squat test when trying on a new pair of pants. While not as comfortable to do as in the Apex or a Defender pants, it does not feel like the pants would split from such a pose.
One advantage they have over the Tac-Lite Pro is that the waistband does not have the “accordion” sections, instead opting for the flexible material of the Apex, making these pants more comfortable to wear with an untucked shirt.
The only drawback I have found it that the cellphone/magazine pocket on the front left is awkwardly positioned, so I am better off having my phone in on of the regular waist pockets if sitting.

The ABR Pro pants are pretty comfortable to wear around, but not quite what I was hoping for. I have been looking for a knee-pad capable pant with the comfortable flex/stretch feel of the Apex pants. I thought the ABR Pro Pant would work, but the leg cut is too skinny and the pants catch on my knees when moving down to the kneeling position.
I had a similar experience with a TRU-SPEC knee-pad capable pant, except the fit was even worse.
In all, I'm not returning the ABR Pro pants, I will add them to my rotation, but the hunt for a good fit knee pad pant will continue.
