Jacket is very well constructed. I am 6-0, 185 and large fit me perfectly. wore in rain yesterday and kept dry with no absorption or leaks. Water beaded right up. Pockets everywhere - 2 chest, 2 front, 2 shoulder, one lumbar, one upper back , inside. Bilateral zips for access to concealed carry and that extend all the way up becoming Pit zips. Hood zips off and can be put in lumbar pocket. Sleeves are good length for me (34" shirts). Velcro wrists and elastic draw cord at hem. quick release buckles bilat along hem for concealed carry - you can unzip sides all the way to pits and still have hem buckled so jacket is not blowing open. Got this on sale during cyber monday sales (lasted all week) for 25% off. Great Job 5.11!

This jacket has performed flawlessly in the Pacific Northwest rain. Although I'm sure the hood is great, I prefer a waterproof hat since I find that hoods limit peripheral vision. The zipper for attaching the hood to the jacket has its own hidden pocket giving it a clean look if the hood is detached. The sizing runs a little small in the armpit area so although I'm 5'-9" and 160 lbs I needed a size large.

Runs a bit smaller then expect and I wish it was more breathable but other then that I love it. Its amazing in rain the the jacket and hood both. Love all the pockets and I really like that the pockets have water proof zippers. Very nice touch. Great fall jacket.

Excellent jacket! I have not worn it yet as weather conditions in my area are not cold and wet as intended use for. Upon trying the jacket on, it appears to be exactly as described and exactly what I was looking for in size and fit.
