For a safety toe boot, these are incredibly light. They offer decent support and cushioning, but the safety toe is very unforgiving if your foot is not the same shape as the toe cap. While the boots fit true to size, there just wasn't quite enough room for my feet in the toe box and I found the sides of my feet getting rubbed pretty raw by the end of the day. Also the color in the photos is a little misleading. They are noticeably lighter in color in person. Overall I would only recommend them if you absolutely need a safety toe boot. If you don't, I would avoid them. These would be great boots if Altama released a soft toe, darker color, US Army compliant version.

At first I found these boots to be very uncomfortable. After a few days they are broken in and they're not as bad. One thing I dislike about these boots are the strings. They're round and silky so my knots come undone often. Other than that these boots are nice.

I bought these with the intention of wearing them 8 hours a day 5 days a week and they are preforming greatly. Light weight for steel toed boots, the outer synthetic materials are holding up very well, tough paracord laces are nice, and even though I did not get the waterproof model they are doing a great job of not letting in morning dew off the grass and other cases. Overall I'm pleased and I'd say Altama has gained a loyal customer!! Dont hesitate to purchase.

Boots feel very comfortable on my feet and give me the protection I need for work

I like the feel of these boots. They feel very comfortable on my feet and provide the protection I need on my angles when accomplishing certain physical tasks. So this was a good investment for me seeing I wear boots all the time for the job I do
