Men's Bates 8" Tactical Sport DRYGaurd Composite Toe Side-Zip Boots Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

Not sure if I received a bad pair but these boots could be the most uncomfortable boot I have laced up in my 30 years of military / law enforcement. I have been wearing them for a week now hoping that they just needed to break in and they have not improved at all. If I tie them tight enough to hold my heel down, the laces bite at the pivot point horribly. If I loosen them up so it doesn't bite then my heels lift and the boots feel like they are way too big. The reinforced toe cap digs into both of my big toes even though the rest of the boot is plenty wide enough for my foot. I normally wear a 10.5 m and that is what i ordered based other peoples reviews.
