Ideal for anyone walking long distances on the job, the Bates Lites Oxford is a lightweight, comfortable shoe that provides the necessary cushioning and support for extended periods of wear, while still maintaining the professional appearance essential to a good oxford. The Goodyear welt construction delivers superior flexibility for an athletic, functional fit that does not inhibit mobility. The non-marking polyurethane outsole offers optimal protection from the elements, and the removable cushioned insole provides added comfort for long days on the job. There is a breathable interior lining that manages moisture and sweat as well. Made in the USA, this shoe is also approved for postal use.

Good looking and very comfortable. The construction appears solid and of high quality. I wore similar shoes in the military and am glad to see one can still get a quality conservative shoe. Price was very competitive.

This is my third pair. Super comfortable, take a shine and I can get a little more than a year out of them.
