I received these boots from my supply NCO right before a CLERT inspection because they were excess. I didn't realize that they were steel toe untill a week later when I wore them for the first time. These boots are a far improvement from other steel toed bots that I've worn! They actually come in my size (9.0 W), allowing me to not have pinched in toes, like the majority of my past steelies. I have no problems with the heel, as the other reviewer mentioned he did. Keep in mind that one should be certain of his boot fitment before ordering. Make sure they are the correct size and width! These boots have lasted me over a year, now, and still going strong.
So why a 4 star? The rough suede on the outside is of varying quality and roughness. Some of the panels are excellent and nearly perfect, yet others look like they were hewn by a high school leather worker, nothing a good razor can't help, but it does take some time.

I wore these boots 3 different times over 6 months 5 days in a row during those times my heels slowly started hurting by the end of the week , I was limping for another week before I could walk normally again. I also have 5 friends that had the same experience with these boots. They threw theirs away after the first time, I was hard headed and wanted to give them a honest try after the 3rd time I wore them I couldn’t toss them away fast enough.
I have other Belleville boots that, I have worn over seas and at work without any issues.
