I was introduced to the Belleville Boot Line while serving on board the now retired USNS Hayes as Engineer.
After undergoing a Rt Total Ankle Replacement(using a Wright Inbone appliance) and therapy, I knew I wanted and needed the caliber of support and fit I had enjoyed with my previous exposure to the Belleville Boot Line.
I am happy to say the surgery has been an overwhelming, immediate success, and I will continue to wear and promote the Belleville Boot line, for dress and in the field. Belleville boots have been my only footwear since the surgery in 2010. I am currently on pair number six, as I rotate from dress to field, and I have found 4 months in a Maritime environment to be an acceptable lifespan for footgear.
Throughout my career, I have never taken time to endorse any product, however Belleville Boots have made a positive impression, and have earned my trust to protect my Ankle.

If this is the military's 2.0 this is sad I remember military boots back when I was in, that someone could get easily shot in the ankle/foot and the boots would literally deflect it and if it did deflected the bullet the bullet would never get through anyways that was a 9 mm this generation of boots aren't even made for walking I probably go right through it and maybe 2 or 3 days it may even last for about a month or two maybe three months It wouldn't even last a year in these boots my last boots didn't even last six months and that wasn't even belleville's so how are these even going to even last for a Marine corps user?

I bought these to replace the Belleville 550's I already had. These were and are the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn so I just wanted the same thing and I got it. The site says they run large but I wear an 11w in running shoe, dress shoe, and boots and the 11w Belleville 550 fits perfectly. I like to leave my toes with a little wiggle room, and with the laces tightened and tied properly, theres no shifting or slippage inside. The name of the color imay be misleading but they look like the picture (tan). This website has them cheaper than three other sites I checked, shipping was on time, no complaints. I reccomend this product.

These boots I receive from my mom last Christmas and I will admit I was not to sure about them. but now I am a believer in them.. They are the best wearing boots I have ever had . I usually walk off my boots within a month of use like Red Wing boots or Carolina's but these boots are awesome I needed to buy another pair but in 8 months time instead of two months and I am very hard on them I pour cement daily and I am a avid hunter so they get a work out . I give them 5 stars plus

I wear a size 9.5 in most shoes so I ordered the 8.5 as suggested and they fit great. These boots are top notch quality material and include the Vibram soles which I prefer over others. I didn't know if I would like the color but I actually now prefer it over all other colors. I just can't say enough about these boots. I am tempted to buy another pair to store away.

Fresh out of the box they fit just right (1/2 size smaller than my normal size)..I've worn these guys rock climbing, working on the railroad , to the gym...These boots as as comfortable as some sneakers...I also purchased the 300dest series boots (which are just as good but fit a little looser.) I recommend both of those boots, Great bang for the buck..

That's right, I've worn these boots every day for 2 years in garrison plus 6 months in Afghanistan and they are still going strong. A little wear and tear, really a few dings in the suede and the molded sole is coming lose at the edges of the toe and heal but only where it meets the upper. Rock solid boots. I've worn out a pair of Bates in less time, 3 months in bootcamp, 1 month MCT and 9 months of Comm School and the cloth on the Bates was tearing. Everyone else's RAT boots they were issued for the Deployment have already started to fall apart, I haven't worn mine, figuring I'll wear out my Bellevilles first, yet my 2 year old boots are doing great. The least expensive Marine Corps boots, yet the best.

This is my 3rd pair of Belleville boots. I've got 2 winter wet weather boots plus the 550 ST for the summer. Boot is rugged, steel toe is designed well, and the boots breath nicely. I purchased Kiwi dessert boot care kit to clean the boots and maintain there appearance. The boots clean up easily. Only one very minor problem for me I had to buy Dr. Scholl's inserts not because of heel pain just because the boots arch supports are a little low. This is not a reflection on the boot as much as it is my feet. Other then the low arch I would buy of Belleville's any day any time., They are hard wearing American made products and that is exactly why I keep buying them.

I have two other pairs of Belleville boots so I knew the quality. This purchase was to have the steel toe feature because I ride vintage bikes. These boots felt great when I first put them on. The steel toe is in the right place and they are ventilated. They will probably last forever but I would buy them again if need be.
