Whether you're in the air or on the ground, the Belleville 693 can handle the job. These boots are Berry Amendment compliant and combine the aggressive look of a military boot with the comfortable fit of a running shoe. They feature a removable insole of premium polyurethane to maximize comfort and waterproof GORE-TEX liner to block out moisture without hindering airflow. When you're climbing or crawling, the deeply serrated toe and heel bumper come in handy. For improved mobility, these boots use a shock-absorbing polyurethane midsole and a Vibram Ibex outsole with sharply angled lugs to boost traction on any surface.

This is a much more comfortable boot to fly with than the 690V! The cushion is great and it fits my foot well. It still runs hot like other flight boots because it is waterproof. I saw some mixed reviews online about the sizing. Normally, Belleville boots run large. I wear a size 10 in running shoes and I have a 9.5 in the 690V model. Tactical gear's website even said to order a size down for this model and this is what customer service told me, but this is not correct. I guess because it is a new model, they changed the sizing. I fit into a size 11, which is a full size up from my normal shoe size. This was the general consensus of the reviews as well.

Good comfortable boot. The insoles that come with the boot are an attempt to be a comfortable padding but the gel parts aren't necessary in the best position and just make high spots in the foot bed. Change these out for your favorite insoles and it'll be a good comfortable boot.

Amazing boots. Generations beyond the full-grain LPVs issued in boot many years ago. Belleville sizing is beyond wonky, my first 2 pairs were returned 3 times for sizing issues. The site has reasonable prices on these, pretty close to the street value. Fast shipping.
