I wore these boots when I was a deep sea diver in the Navy and they were awesome! I decided to start with a fresh pair. I've had them for 2 weeks and I can honestly say they're even better than I remember. In the past 2 weeks my knee/leg/back pain has almost entirely disappeared. I have 2 jobs and I stand the entire time I'm there and I couldn't find a comfortable enough shoe/boot and fondly remembered my Danners. I now don't come home limping from the pain and I no longer wake up limping for the first 20 minutes I'm walking around. Now that Danner has the re crafting available I plan on never needing another pair of boots again. Get these boots! You won't regret it! Wears this shoe: All day every day.

I use this boot as a duty boot as a correction officer in Massachusetts in a facility that requires me to be outside in the New England weather often. Nothing beats Gore Tex, I swear by this stuff. Almost zero break in period, and boy are these comfortable boots. They are able to be resoled provided you do a bit of up keep to prevent dry rot. Lastly, they are Danner... American made...and quality. All in all, this boot is a great boot.

Once these break in they feel like a glove when you put them on. This is my 4th pair I have owned and they are great. Only thing I do notice is that once they are fully broken in they feel about a 1/2 size larger in the width.

This boot is comfortable. It is a little heavy compare with other boots, but the leather seems to last longer and wears well. No break-in period necessary. The only complaint about this boot, because this is my second boot in four years, is that the sole does not last long. My average wear and tear on the sole is about a year or so. But it is easy to replace, I just wish it last longer.

I mainly bought it for Danner's reputation. I have many co-workers who wear Danner's. It's a great uniform boot, perfect amount of insulation for indoor/outdoor use. Vibram sole is perfect for cruising around the hanger and climbing on helicopters. Once they break in, I know they fit like a glove. They should last a lifetime and I love that Danner will resole them and recondition them.

i ran a set of these for 7 years,i kept the leather good and re-soled twice-in all weathers and climates all over the globe-these boots kept me mobile and ready.now i wont ride without them.

Very good quality. My last pair last me 6 years. That is with a couple resoles, but the boot lasted. Some guys at work have had their's 9 years with resoles.

This is the second pair of Acadias that I have purchased. My first pair lasted so long that I didn't think I would ever get another. That was until the great deal I got at this site. These boots are strong, take a shine well, and last a long time. Highly recommended.
