Took only a day to break them in. Super light, which is great because my job involves climbing. Warm, although not tested in super cold temps yet. My only complaint, which is minor, is that after only a week the outer layer is scratched up over the toe. Wish they put something sturdier/protective over it. I'll probably buy the non-insulated version next spring.

I had the 4"'version of the boot. I wore the boot until I couldn't wear them anymore, as a matter of fact they were my go-to boot when 3 other pair of boots were just feeble attempts to provide me the comfort, lightweight,and warmth of my 3 year old Danner 4" Vicious boot. I need the 8", due to environment I work in now, and I secretly plan to play basket ball in them.

I work on my feet 10-12 hrs 5-6 days a week in heavy industrial construction.
I have to say that, This boot is very comfortable.
I purchased boot in my size but was a bit tight so I exchanged for a 1/2 size larger the boots fit like a glove.
