Positives: Gloves are light and very well made. The padding for the top of the hand down by the wrist is very well placed. The index finger is the only one that has all of the bottom and sides covered in leather, all other fingers are just covered on the palm side and 3 sides for the finger tips.
Negatives: The knuckle guards are very soft and can be easily folded in half with light finger pressure from the sides. This means that they wont be helping you resist anything your own knuckles can't handle. They are not hard.
The guards are covered in the excellent, but thin stretchy shell that makes up the back of the glove. This means that on the first big grind against rough surfaces, they will likely be trashed/exposed.
Most mysteriously, on making a fist, the index knuckle guard migrates towards the thumb, leaving your first knuckle unprotected. !!??.
I am the most medium sized person I know and these gloves in medium will provide efficient but very light protection only. Not for offensive use/ the apocalypse.
In short, worth it for light protection only.
Manufacturer- Clean up the unfinished/sharp edges of your velcro bottom pad on the wrist for a 100% more professional finish. The rest of the glove is impressive!

I have not had much opportunity to wear these gloves. However the few times i have worn them they are a snug secure fit and comfortable for my large hands. I bought these gloves for the sole purpose of my job as a correctional sgt and tactical unit memeber. Thus far i have only used them once in a scenario so i need more time for a better review. But so far the fit and quality seem to be holding up quite well

Well made , my first pair I put though hell with training for Spartan race's and much more, like that they are touch screen friendly and and the watch cut space is a plus

I like the durability and the materials used in this product but i suggest ordering one maybe two sizes up because when you wash them they shrink a little.

Gloves are OK knuckles move around and are made of a rubber and are flexible. For a tactical glove I don’t think they’re going to help you my punch would be the same with or without them.
