The Lacrosse 18" Alphaburly Pro 800G WP has been optimized for maximum versatility to suit a wide variety of activities from hunting to hiking to working in the outdoors. The unique Alpha construction involves hand-laying premium rubber around a neoprene core and vulcanizing it for bonded waterproofing and a lightweight, flexible fit. This model features 800 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation around the naturally insulating 3.5-millimeter neoprene core, delivering superior warmth for cold-weather activities. A nylon shank ensures torsional rigidity and offers additional support when running or walking. The Active Fit last is a stable security measure designed to prevent the boot from falling off when trekking through mud. An ideal boot for serious outdoorsmen, this Lacrosse design will not relent.

A little bit more space in the boot than I thought there would be. The lack of a lip on the heel makes removing the boot a bit more difficult. the tightening strap at the top of the calf is perfectly placed for a secure fit but it would be nice for the strap to have a better storage place versus the dangling lengthy section. Overall great product .
