This is the first time I have bought Merrill tactical boots. I love Merrill hiking shoes and boots, but needed something sturdier for my work. I am impressed with how lightweight they are. They could use longer shoestrings, though. There isn't much left of the strings to tie once you've got them laced. They are very comfortable.
