I've had these for nearly 4 months now and can honestly say this was the best purchase I've made, thus far, for an athletic shoe. They're a little stiff when you first begin wearing them but they soften up and mold to your foot once you break them in. The break-in period isn't long.
I feel these run true-to-size as an athletic shoe. I'm female and opted for men's 8.5, typically would be 10 women's running shoe, and these fit great.
No issues with hotspots or chaffing on runs. Great to wear with or without socks as they're very breathable.

Shoe is light and fit's well (true to regular size in my experience). The bottom offers some protection, but not from large roots and rocks. Consider it a fire trail, tough mudder shoe.
