Get the job done right with the Original SWAT 8” Force. Built on a non-marking, slip-resistant carbon rubber cupsole, these boots keep you on your feet at all times so you can work at your hardest. The upper is made with full-grain leather and 1,000 denier nylon. It also features a foam padded collar to prevent chafing. A moisture-wicking lining wicks away sweat and uses Aegis antimicrobial protection to fight against odor-causing bacteria. A Texon stability platform and custom-molded thermoplastic heel counter provide superior lateral support, while EVA in the heel and forefoot absorb impact and reduce fatigue. With a removable, cushioned EVA insole and polyurethane heel kick plate, these boots will keep you supported and comfortable in the toughest conditions.

The boot has no arch support so it's like walking barefoot on concrete. The back of the boot is sloped into the calf rather than following the natural contour and is painful. The supposed leather resists any leather treatment so I suspect it is artificial. The upper is so stiff that it feels as though your legs were replaced with wood pegs. Never have I hated a pair of boots as much as I do this pair.

You can tell this is a good strong comfortable boot. But I wish I at least got a half size bigger because they are very tight. I wear a 12 in everything but these are ridiculously tight
