Perfect for long shifts in urban environments, the Original SWAT Air Metro Traction SZ provides cushioned comfort and maximum support. This boot is built on a non-marking rubber outsole that meets the ASTM F489-96 standard for slip resistance to keep you functional on any terrain. With arch ladder tread and a custom-molded thermoplastic heel counter, these boots deliver superior traction and support with very little break-in time. The non-metallic shank allows these boots to be comfortably worn at the airport or near security devices. A YKK side zipper with a hook and loop closure allows for a secure fit and fast on and off. Made from a blend of leather and 3-ply bonded nylon, these boots are built to hold up on any mission.

The look of the boot is good. The zipper works well. I had trouble with other boots and zippers. These boots just hurt my feet. My heal and ball of my foot are in pain by the end of the day. I have worn these almost a week and it is not getting better. Maybe it is just my feet, I'm not sure. I'll have to buy another pair of boots from somewhere else.

Polishable toe, minimum break in period, good comfort. Used for long patrol shifts on my feet. I always use two-ply socks and custom orthotics. Minor gripe are a couple of the strings/stitches show some wear and tear, but that's expected after the 2 solid years that I wore them. No issues with laces, zippers or anything else. I recommend.

When I bought them they were 79 bucks, I still have them got a hole in the side now, one of the zipper tabs broke off the first year, I just put a wire through it. Comfortable and light. Thinking about another pair.

Wear them daily, only issue was zipper tab broke off. When I called customer service they sent me 2 new zipper tabs, I replaced them and been happy since. I will buy another pair of these were when I need new boots.

Comfortable right from the start. I added a gel insert. They hold up excellent. Better then Magnum.
I walk 5 to 7 miles each shift and stand alot. Best boot I've bought so far.

Sturdy, lighter then herman survivors, but the cushion is a bit hard if you want to stand all day long. they are of good construction so far.
no obvious flaws.

Boots are fairly comfortable but the sole seems too thick and they look cheap made.
