Propper's 8" Series 100 military boots deliver support and durability. Made from durable 1,000 denier nylon and water-resistant suede, these boots are able to withstand constant use and still retain their shape, while the arch is fast-rope compatible to reduce abrasions caused by ladders or ropes. For ease of use, the speed lace system allows you to get the boots on and off quickly and ensure a snug, comfortable fit. An anti-microbial lining promotes breathability and blocks the growth of odor-causing bacteria to boost the freshness and extend the life of the boots. The removable open cell foam inserts are washable, breathable and mold to the shape of your foot for maximum arch support and weight distribution.

Durable construction

Built to last with durable construction, ensuring they can withstand the toughest conditions. The boots are made from high-quality materials including full-grain leather and 1000D nylon, which are both strong and abrasion-resistant. This construction helps to protect the boots from damage and wear, ensuring they remain in good condition for a longer period.

Comfortable fit

Designed for all-day comfort with a cushioned insole and padded collar. The boots are also constructed with a breathable lining that helps to wick away moisture, keeping feet cool and dry. The lace-up design allows for a customizable and secure fit, while the YKK side zipper provides easy on and off access. The boots also feature a lightweight EVA midsole that provides shock absorption and reduces foot fatigue, making them ideal for long periods of wear. The slip-resistant rubber outsole provides excellent traction on various surfaces, making them suitable for outdoor and indoor work environments. The durable leather and 900D nylon upper make these boots resistant to wear and tear, ensuring long-lasting use.

Slip-resistant outsole

Feature a slip-resistant rubber outsole, which provides excellent traction and stability on various terrains, including wet and slippery surfaces. This feature ensures that the wearer maintains balance and grip during intense activities, reducing the risk of slips, falls, and injuries. The outsole is made from high-quality materials that are designed to withstand abrasions, punctures, and extreme weather conditions. This makes it perfect for use in rugged outdoor environments, providing long-lasting durability and reliable performance.

Secure closure

The combination of speed lace and zipper closure also helps to provide additional support and stability around the ankle. This feature is particularly important for tactical and military use, as it allows for quick and easy transition between different activities or terrains. The boots also feature a cushioned footbed and collar that provide all-day comfort and support, reducing foot fatigue and discomfort during extended periods of wear. The footbed is removable, allowing for easy cleaning and replacement when necessary.

I bought these to replace a discontinued Magnum Spider 8.0. This boot is more substantial and will take more break in than the Spider but that boot is good for about 1-2 years of good use. The Propper 100 should last way longer than that. The Propper 100 will also handle ruck duty better than the Spider. The proper is heavier than the Magnum Spider but is definitely a military grade boot.
I had some issues with the insoles but nothing that an aftermarket insole wont fix. I ended up adding a SuperFeet Green under the existing memory foam sole. I have old feet. The boot is roomy and can handle both or the thickest of the socks.
It is a roomy boot but not so big that you have to change sizes. Just crank down on the laces.
The laces my boots came with were frayed on one boot and were kind of cheap. I replaced them with 550 cord laces. The short stretch of the 550 chord helps you crank down without cutting off the circulation of the foot. Replace the stock laces.
I just got the boots and am wearing them around the house for their initial fitting. So far am happy and can see getting a good 2-3 years of wearing them as facilitator for a tactical company. Lots of range time, loading and unloading trucks, long days standing on concrete, and days in the field.

I have used these boots for work for about 10 months now and am completely satisfied with their performance. These boots are well made, sturdy and have good traction. Water resistant enough to keep your feet dry in the rain and breathable enough to keep you from getting trench foot in the summer. Not the most breathable boot, but you can step in a puddle without soaking your feet. After 10 months of use the tread shows very little wear. Comfortable, fits true to size and slightly loose but comes with an insert that takes up extra space if desired and adds padding to your feet. No failures in seams or sole in 10 months. The only gripe is the laces are a little thin for my liking, replaced them with real 550 cord. Buy'em you'll like them, unless you're looking for a tactical tennis shoe.

Not as cushioned as the Rocky S2V but comfortable none the less.
Light weight as hell, too. Expected them to be heavier. Not cheap light weight, just lighter than the bricks that are issue boots.
Only issue is there is a seam at the base of the tongue/first lace point that if my foot were much thicker/taller in the boot, it would place a very uncomfortable point of pressure/pinch point on my foot and make it painful to walk.
But I wear 10-11 size and I bought 10. The fit great and the pinch point doesn't get felt at all.
YMMV. Give them a shot. S2V quality for less than half the price... Propper is now my new Go-to boot guys for Army Uniform. I wore my S2V for a whole year in Afghanistan and then 4 more years in Garrison. I'm still wearing them but no longer in uniform because the seams are gone and the boot is falling apart like a 5th grade science fair project.

A very good boot at a decent price. Comfortable out of the box with very little break in time. Durable construction, decently breathable and reasonably water resistant. After a year of near daily use on concrete, gravel and turbine grating, tread has had minimal wear and still maintains good traction. The only change I have made is replacing the laces with 550 cord. The original laces are acceptable, but 550 cord is more durable than the original.

These boots are pretty good overall, but I work in an office environment. Over the last year I haven't asked much from these boots. I wear them Mon-Fri almost exclusively inside. So, I was surprised when I noticed today the vertical stiffener on the outside of my left heel is broken. It's sandwiched between layers inside the boot, so repair would be difficult. I don't know how it was broken, but I am thinking a boot designed for combat ought to take more abuse than I've subjected these to.

I think I may have the older version as mine are a lighter desert tan (not Coyote like these), otherwise from what I can tell it's the exact same boot. I got mine in 2015. From 2015-2017 I wore them about once a week for various outdoor adventures, hiking, shooting long work days etc. Starting in late 2017 - present (8 months) I have been wearing these 6 days a week for construction and occasional hikes. They are just starting to show some separation on the sole. Otherwise the suede looks almost new, they are extremely comfortable. They are water resistant and the biggest plus for me is they feel great even in 100 degree summer weather.
By far the best bang for your buck out there for uses with hiking, work, tactical applications etc. I will buy another one day when mine finally die.

Not the least comfortable boot I've worn but not the most comfortable either. Heavier than others, not much arch support. But if you need a boot that will work and you have time to break them in these are good for the value.

I read a review that said if your not going to be wearing a tactical vest under a Propper shirt, and want a trim fit, you need to order a size smaller, and its true !
I normally wear an XL Long and I ordered Large long, they fit perfect.
They are very good quality, made to last, and look sharp.

Being prior military with two deployments (101st Air Assault) I know the importance of having a great pair of boots on your feet. My current line of work has me on my feet 8-10 hours a day and sometimes 7,14 or even 21 days straight before I take a day off. Only worn these boots for a week but man am I glad I purchased them. Fit was dead on and additional inserts were great. Have not had any issues with hot spots or even any break in discomfort. Boots were good to go right out of the box. No workmanship or quality issues thus far . Pleased with this boot all around.

Ordered my first pair a few months ago. I was hesitant about ordering online but ordered my normal size and width. Package arrived and I tried on the boots the fit was perfect. These boots are one the most comfortable boots I have worn in a long time. I just ordered up another pair.
