The Propper Cotton Ripstop BDU Coat is a reliable, multipurpose outer layer you can count on under any conditions. Sewn to Mil-Spec MIL-C-44048G with a sturdy, cotton ripstop construction, this coat is tough, functional and an ideal choice for any tactical operation. The felled sides and sleeves give the coat a rugged, seamless look, and the military grade pockets provide maximum storage. Each pocket features a covered-button front which maintains a professional appearance and ensures storage security when in the field. The fused collar and reinforced elbows keep you comfortable for extended periods of wear. Drain holes on the bellowed pockets encourage breathability and expel excess moisture and sand particles. The chest pencil pocket offers additional storage and the adjustable sleeve buttons make this coat customizable for any build.

When I served with the Seabee's we were the last to wear OD green. I would buy the woodland cams in the surplus stores. I have been wearing these jackets for more than 20 years in the field, back and forth to work and most of the year until extreme cold weather. These jackets hold up to wear and abuse and will last for years. Great product, good price.

Both arrived very quickly. Impressed. I use the BDU coats as shooting jackets during High Power Rifle Matches, Club League shooting and for practice. Again the BDUs stand up to M1, 1903, 1903A3, M1A-M-14 and the AR-15. I slip a pad to right shoulder area. I was born July 29th, 1940. I am 79 years of age. I have fired at Camp Perry, Ohio National Matches. I felt very comfortable in my BDUs. Thank You. Semper Fi I/3/26th Marines at the Siege.

This is not the first I have ever had ,I bought a green one several years ago. I am impressed that the quality is exactly the same high standard, So many products deteriorate with time but yours did not. Also have a tan one of unknown vintage. Great for spring and fall. Never wears out.

I love it! Takes me back to being in the Army in the early 90's! I have one issue. It could use one more button higher, closer towards the collar! I guess I'm being picky but I just don't like the cleavage showing! Lol otherwise it's well made and comfortable!

Well, first off, I've had these before, in the cotton ripstop and also in the NyCo fabric. This is the first one I've had in 3XLL; up until now, I've had 2XLL. Anyway, it's well-made (as one might expect from a mil-spec item), and I enjoy the more generous fit (I'm 6'3" and like a 52"-54" chest). But the chest pockets seem too low; they hit me almost below, instead of on, my pecs. I will probably wind up moving the pockets upward 1.5" to 2".

This is the type of shirt/ coat that you would want camping/fishing with you. Made of thick and stiff material (lol) like my old army issued uniforms. And almost thorn-proof it did not shrink in the hottest setting so this is a good buy IMO.

I live to fish but take medications that restrict my exposure to sunlight and heat. This product allows me to beat both restrictions by giving protection from both. A real game changer.

Fits well. Wore it on a training exercise last weekend. Well made and stitching good. I got a Large Long (I'm 6'2) and the sleeves were a bit long, but better long than short.
