I have 5 of these, 4 for work including this one. What doesn't this product do? It doesn't fall apart with use and abuse. I bought 3 at first, and 6 months of use and abuse doesn't even phase it. I wanted a white one to round out the work stuff to match the Navy Blue ones both used at work. It carries my pens on the left sleeve, sunglasses in reverse under the collar which also helps to keep the collar neat. The loop is where my name badge clamps on. The under arm gussets work well even with an Under Armour base underneath. I've worn it on 15* nights and 95* days, and it does both well. My jackets have under arm zippered vents that allow it to work with the shirt to let heat escape, while not allowing me to get cold as of late. In random with Propper Lightweight Tactical Trouser, or District pants, I have true Workwear. Between the features on both, I am one of few people at work who come prepared for whatever tasks our facility can have us do. If you work hard, your work wear should also work for you. This product is for you if you work hard for long hours, and get dirty regularly. Above all, it's comfortable, which helps in my work space.

Absolutely listen to everyone else and go down a size. Possibly two depending on how tight you like your shirts. I ordered a large and I was swimming in it. Gave it away to someone who wears a XL and he said it fit him great. I've ordered more in medium though hoping that it fits better. As it's a lot of money getting these shirts shipped to Dubai I won't be sending it back. I obviously didn't get to wear it at work but the material is exactly as pictured. I read a review somewhere else that they hold Embroidery well too. Which I am hoping as I have to embroider both sides of the chest, both sleeves and the back for my work logos. And then inshallah these will keep much cooler in this Middle East heat on the ambulance.

I ordered the first one in a large expecting that it would be big but knowing that I had someone else at work to give it to. If the medium was true to size i would of not had anyone to give it to and it would of been a waste of money as I'm not paying international shipping to get this back. It really should be stated in the description the size to get if you are not wearing a vest. As this size could only possibly be for a vest underneath. This is a much more common EMS color in California and from what I've seen abroad. So advertisement should not be limited to Police personnel.

Disclaimer- they did not ship this to me in Dubai. I use another service to have things shipped to me here so that I'm not an American deprived of things while abroad.

First - buy one size smaller than you normally wear. If you get the wrong size because you bought your normal size, tactical gear will charge you a restocking fee if you try to get the correct size (ended up giving to a family member the first time and eating it because I don't believe in restock fees).

That said: fit is great when bought a size smaller, color is true, collar stays put - doesn't flop on one side. Awesome shirt, very comfortable and looks great. If you normally wear a small like me, buy the XS. I did find more color options on the Propper website in XS, but they are more expensive so buy from Tactical Gear if they have the appropriate size. Would recommend to anyone whether it is for casual wear or for your workplace.

I'm 6' 1" at 170 lbs, lean build. I always purchase a medium shirt, sometimes large. Using their size chart, I came to a medium. I ordered it and got it almost two weeks later. Unfortunately, the medium for me fit like, at least, a large. I had to return it at my own expense and buy the small instead. The small fits great and I like the pen pockets on the sleeve as well as the pockets at the shoulders. Size down for a more fitted shirt, or order your usual size for an extremely loose shirt that may allow body armor underneath. I walked into a steel rod left out by a fool at work and the shirt was fine. I had a bruised bicep for a week, and the shirt was fine. Durable material and looks great.

The first thing I noticed is that the material is heavy but it lays out nicely on you. This allows for a non-wrinkled appearance quite easily. The collar stays just how it should and the lines are very clean. It does well to imply 'professional' (in the general sense) in a subtle way quite well. The only downside is that the material is not tolerant to any kind of dirty environment; your neck can rub dirt onto it very easily. I suspect a lighter color in a dusty environment will make short work of it's clean appearance. Additionally, I was very disappointed that the collar pills quite rapidly if you have not shaved that morning. It seems whiskers grab at it and pull quite easily. I'd call it a very clean and pro shirt but rather fragile, to be honest.

These are the greatest shirts. I know they are designed for LEO, but they make really good shirts for work and every day. They hang smooth right out of the dryer, the placket loop is great for my work badge or glasses, I don’t use the sleeve pen pockets or the mic pockets but you don’t even feel them. Nice stretchy fabric that breathes well and the under arm mesh panels are great for thermal management. The under collar button down feature keeps the collar looking great. They work very well for work or play. I even had my company logo embroidered on a few and they held up well to the stitching. They seem to run large but you have to try them out to determine what fit is best for you. I am 6’1”, 210 lbs and the medium fits like a glove. Get you some of these!!

I purchased an extra large. Fits well.
My only issue is the type of pens to store in the slots. Doesn't like certain pens that may have rubber pens like v-ball or other retractable pens that have the dimpled rubber grip.
Oh, do wash before wear. Wash alone if only shirt you have. I purchased two and washed them upon receipt. After the wash, there was a black snoot type ring in my washer. After wearing the two I have, I washed them and the residue/ink did not reappear and no damage to shirt. Will feel real good on cool days. Arrived on time, no damaged packaged well.
I purchased this shirt to keep my molle vest from rubbing my neck. It has a high collar and has made my duty hours more comfortable.

Over the years I've gone through many different brands of polo shirts. I have to say these Propper Ice Polos are hands down "THE BEST". Kudos to the people at Propper! I was at first concerned about the thickness of the material, but I wore these down in Peru and they work just fine. Even here on the hot & humid East Coast they wear well. BELIEVE ALL THE REVIEWS ABOUT THEM RUNNING LARGE!!! I ordered XXL the first time and had to send them back for XL. Now they fit perfect. Heartfelt shout-out to folks at Tactical Gear for exchanging the shirts at no extra cost! Have six Ice Polos now, love them all!!!

It comes as advertised. Very breathable and good wicking action. The collar allows me to use it in the office with a pair of slacks, while still being casual enough to wear weekends or down to the range.

The shirt ran a little loose/large on me - but with the South Texas heat/humidity this actually works great!

The colors I've received all are true to what you see on the screen.

I use the pen pockets and sunglass loop daily.

I would highly recommend these shirts - and in fact one of my brother-in-laws is now wearing them for work as a hospital system transport driver.

This is my favorite deployment polo. Deploy to disasters nationwide for the Red Cross. These shirt wear like Iron, yet are comfortable. The cut is generous so a medium fits a bit more like a large. I am want breathable and comfort. They hold their color well and the hidden button collars hold their shape. The black and red polos hold their color after considerable washings. You can sleep in these polos and no wrinkles. The fabric is stout, it wore well in Florida following Back to back Hurricanes. LOVE EM
