The jacket is very light and the material breathes well so when I wear it over my uniform and/or uniform jacket in the rain I won't feel bulky and sweaty. It is only water resistant but I didn't read anywhere that it couldn't be treated with the same product I treat my tents with to make them more water repellant for the harder raining days. When the hood is concealed in the collar it creates a great turtle neck-like style that will add warmth if wearing the jacket for added protection from the cold. The entire jacket can roll up and fit in an average tactical pants or BDU cargo pocket. It will do the job very well for what I purchased it for.

Very compact and easy to stow away. thin and light material that you can put on in a jiffy whenever needed. slight issue with threading coming loose on the right arm, was easy to fix but it happened after only a week of use. The rest of the jacket seems to hold together well. Comes with a very convenient hood and 4 pockets, one chest, two waist, and the back pocket that is turned inside out to stow away the jacket into the pocket.

I’m 6’5” & 300lbs with a long torso. 4XL Fits absolutely perfect. Still big enough to fit over a thicker garment like a hoodie. Works great under my carhartt vest. The two go together great. This won’t offer much water resistance because it’s thin & has a bit of stretch but it looks good with or without the hood deployed and offers options for layering in pretty much any season.

All I wanted was a light weight wind jacket and this one is perfect. Light weight and a soft quiet fabric. Packs away in its own pocket so I can keep it in my everyday pack. Great for clear cold windy days.

Good fit with DutyFleece; good materials & construction. Front zipper needs a little breaking in. O/W very good. Hope it lasts as long as my NorthFace.

Well I always love this site however I was disappointed in this item , it's called a Wind Jacket in the discription but even the tag said windshirt when I recieved it . It's too light thought it was going to be much more like a jacket !

Will use when I travel to the lower 48 as a layer in Alaska and a outside jacket after getting to the airport.

Nice compact size for packing, however I see no water resistance whatsoever. Even 1 drop penetrates. Can this be treated??
