The Propper poly / cotton ripstop BDU uniform coat is a reliable, multipurpose outer layer you can count on, under any condition. Sewn to military specifications, its sturdy, ripstop construction is tough and functional and makes it an ideal choice for anyone working in public safety as well as for military professionals. The felled sides and sleeves give the coat a consistent, seamless look, and the military-grade pockets provide maximum storage and have covered-button fronts, which maintain a professional and neat look, while the fused collar and reinforced elbows keep you comfortable. Drain holes on the bellowed pockets encourage breathability and expel excess moisture. The chest pencil pocket offers additional storage and the adjustable sleeve buttons make this coat customizable for any build.

A year ago I purchased one each Lt gray, Dk grey and a khaki. I wear one almost every day with the pockets full of stuff. The only "problem" is two buttons fell off of the Lt gray. No biggy, sewed it back on. The chest pockets could be a little wider but since they hold up so well not sure if I should say anything.

I bought this not too long ago, love it! The material is very nice, it's quite stiff but after a while it got better. Only minor con I found ( it's just me ) is that if I use elbow pads, it'd create lines on my arm ( no biggies tho ) . Overall I give this a 9,5 out of 10.

Don't be hesitated because of my con, it was probably because I ordered it a size bigger, no problem though! Absolutely loving this shirt

I got a set of XXL's. My measurements are slightly greater than XL according to the size chart. While the torso fits perfectly, the arms are friekishly huge in terms of length and width. I thought I accidentaly ordered a Long set. I didn't. The elbow stiching rests on my forearm, and I'm 6' tall. Not a problem sleeves up but the underarm and shoulder areas remain baggy. Hope the dryer can help because downsizing is not an option as the torso would be tight on me. Bugs the heck out of me because this is a great brand that makes quality uniforms. MAYBE I could fit an XL but I don't want to pay shipping twice to return the one I have. If you are borderline then go with the smaller size. The 2X pants fit me just fine since I have a large rear end. Just a little baggy by the crotch. Time to lose weight.

I don't know that I would call this a "coat", because it really isn't heavy enough, but it is a great light jacket. I ordered the black and the khaki to use as samples for our local collegiate veterans' group, and they are perfect. No comment on durability yet, as they haven't been put to the test, but they feel up to standard and then some. The fabric feels strong and holds its shape after washing, the color is great, and I think they will need very little maintenance to look good. The only question is the sizing, which seems to run just a little large, but not so big as to be a problem.

Once you but this clothing you will never go anywhere else. Im not easily impressed however the quality blew me away. Everything about the company and its products are miles above everyone else. I highly recomend all Tru Spec and Propper clothing, there is none better. Used by our Military and law enforcement alike.

Once again I am very pleased with my purchase from tacticalgrear.com. The item is very durable and comfortable to wear and if you get the right color, you can use it for multiple purposes. I also want to praise tacticalgear.com's customer service as they are second to none. Thanks guys!

This is a well constructed coat but it runs a little large. I’m a 2X and it ran large on me. Not sure that you should order a size lower than what you normally do but it will probably run a little large. This is fine if you expect to wear heavier clothing underneath.

I wanted to have room for a base layer and mid-weight shirt under this, followed the size guide and it's just the fit I wanted. Three different cuff buttons allow anything from pretty snug at the wrist to enough room to have the sleeves slide over big gloves.

Well made, great price, very durable. Sizing seemed to run slightly larger than expected, but this is not a problem for me because usually my purchases go the other way, things end up being smaller than expected. Very happy, and will recommend to everyone!

Fits me perfectly - 2XLT - and that's surprising. Normally even when I order tall sizes the sleeves end up being too short - I'm 6'5". This coat fits great, has sturdy buttons/button holes and has lots of pockets. Nice coat!
