The Battle Dress Uniform was worn by the U.S. Armed Forces in combat until mid-2000. While no longer worn in combat, the classic style inspired most tactical clothing because of its resilient, useful design. Propper crafts these poly/cotton BDU pants to military specification, except that these pants come with a zip fly instead of the usual button fly. Made from a durable 65% polyester / 35% cotton ripstop fabric, these pants stand up to abuse. Double-reinforced seat and knees, and felled seams provide additional strength, while waist tabs with 4 bar tacks self-adjust to maintain an ideal fit at all times. Six military-grade pockets provide storage for all essential gear. Take on any challenging mission with confidence when you dress in Propper's battle-tested BDU pants.

The material is thin and feels kind of cheap. The bottom of the pants have a black string lining it on the inside to tighten the bottoms. Why you would want to considering you'd probably be pairing the pants with steel toed boots, I don't know. They get in the way when they become undone from their bows. Otherwise, fine product so far.

I am very pleased with the quality of these pants. I am also very impressed with the speed in which we got our order. Also when we had to return an order because it was the wrong size it only took a few days to get the new order to us and get the return processed? Very Pleased. Will definitely order from you again

These pants exceeded my expectations. The fit is perfect and the weight is just right. I’ll definitely purchase several more.
Everyone else pays $3.00 a week for work pants, but I wanted something more roomy, more functional. After researching and finding these, I’m hooked. I’m half tempted to buy a pair for everyday use beyond work.
They are a true fit. I purchased my size and they couldn’t be better.

I bought a pair for work since they didn’t provide “short” length only regular and long. I’m 5’4” so the regulars are way too long for my liking. These fit perfect. They seem to be well built and not too bad on comfort either. I’ll be buying more of these in the future when I need another pair. The price is right too.

I ordered these in large/long on my first order (button fly). I typically were a 36" waist and 32" length. Pants were way too long and way too wide. This time got the medium/regular (zip fly). Much better. A little tight in the waist but am very happy with them. Getting ready to order a second pair.

I ordered these and they came fast and unharmed. Out of most of the Bdu pants on the website these are probably some of the cheapest. I've worn them while hiking and doing other outdoor activities normal pants wouldn't hold up to as well and they haven't ripped or been damaged. Worth it, good product.

I ordered two pair of these for work. I wanted the zipper fly instead of the standard button fly . The quality and fit are great. I also love the ripstop fabric and of course the zipper. I have washed and worn both pairs of pants several times and have had no issues.

Pants seem well made, but to make a size 34 pant fit a 31 waist with side straps leaves lots of material bunched up on your hips. They need to offer more fitted sizes. Way too baggy over the butt and legs if you're on the lower size of the range.

They're black and comfortable, so they go well with anything. They do not make that "swish" noise as some bdu's do when walking. I like wearing these to work because they are rugged and functional. I also like the zipper fly.
