Men's Ridge Air-Tac Ghost Zipper Steel Toe Boots Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

I've worn these boots from anywhere on average of 10-14 hours a day when working without a complaint of comfort. Possibly the most comfortable boot I've ever worn, even with them being a ST boot. Break in period took about a month to fully get them molded to my feet for absolute comfort, not a problem. The only major gripe I have with these is the horrid device Ridge has called a zipper that they built in with the boots. The zipper quality and build is so bad, that in not only in 5 months have they broken, I'm looking for a different pair of boots; and in addition looking for a boot repair to do some custom work on fixing this zipper issue. If Ridge put actual high quality zippers that would pull apart from the nylon they were sewn onto, then I'd consider buying them again. But because of the zippers, Ridge has left an odd taste that I may not go to again. Looking into more expensive but milspec boots for my next venture.

Took a long time to find a black combat boot with a steel toe. These also happen to be very comfortable and on/off with ease. Insulated well. After a disappointing pair from Magnum, these seem to be holding up. Wish it still laced with eyelets, but is working perfectly so what do I know?

Wish just 36 hours (3X12 hour days) of wear time, I am impressed with the comfort and support of this boot. Time will tell about the longevity and how this boot performs with more hours on them. I really like their feel so far.

I do like the zipper all the way down to the side, make it easier to in and out. Especially, when you are in a hurry to get ready for work. Comfort while walking and overall, I will buy this product again for sure.

I tried on the boots several different times with different socks on and something about the way the heal is designed I couldn't get comfortable so I am returning the boots .

I'm on my 2nd pair after almost 2 years of the 1st pair. Nice comfortable boots that suit all my work needs. My only recommendation would be swap out the very stiff insoles.

I like them the fit is good. I am a fire fighter paramedic so when the call comes in the quick to but on. It only takes 4 to 5 seconds to be in them and out the door.

These are some of the most comfortable and durable boots that I have used in the last 50 years. They hold up three times longer than any other boots I have tried !!

They are breaking in well, once I got tongue folds in good spot.
Pretty comfy and cool to ware at work. Unique zipper makes super easy on and off.
