I've worn these shoes over the past 25 years as a technician in a very busy V.A. clinic. At the end of day my feet are dry and my legs are not fatigued as they are with a lesser shoes. My Ortho-Pod recommended the Rockport brand to me. My only problem with the Rockport brand are the varying widths depending on where the shoe is manufactured.

This is my husband's second pair of Rockport steel toe work shoes. The first pair lasted about 1.5 years, but the rubber around the lower edge of where the sides meet the sole started separating from the shoe. He says that's not unusual, considering he works construction in them every day. The latest pair are well made and comfortable.

Thank goodness Rockport rarely changes men's shoe styles. Ever since my husband discovered this particular style on a trip to Maine years ago, it is all he wears. Right now he has one old pair he wears for yard work and a new pair he wears for "good". He's worn out a few pairs over the years, but these shoes last for a very long time, are extremely rugged and will protect your feet, especially since they have a steel toe, which has been important because he works with a lot of stone in the yard. Spend the money on these shoes; you won't be replacing them every year.

So far this product seems to be well made, I have other Rockport shoes that I have had a long time and they are still great. Rockport makes a very fine shoe and last a long time, that is why I purchased Rockport. These are comfortable and stylish for work. Completely happy!

The show was bought for the steel toe. I work with machinery and needed a steel toe shoe for that purpose. The heel part of the shoe does not fit like my other shoes, therefore I cannot wear the shoe for work.

I bought these shoes out of desperation. My feet were dying a slow death from cheap, heavy steel toed shoes. I opened up the box and tried them on. "Yeah, we'll see" I said, being extremely skeptical.
I wore them all day the following work day, and to my amazement, my feet didn't hurt, my legs didn't hurt, and my back didn't hurt. They were and are amazing!! If you are looking for quality, comfort, and light-weight steel toed shoes...LOOK NO FURTHER!

I like the leather and the comfort. The SKECHERS Mariner had some type of plastic covering that easily cracked and peeled. I plan to purchase more of the Rockport Works 4 shoes in the near future.
