The positive points, pretty cool tread pattern and the insole felt nice. The negative points, the uppers looked and felt like they were made out of cheap plastic not leather. There was absolutely no ankle support in the back. The spaghetti laces felt like they would break in a week. I always buy work boots a size smaller to be sure they will be snug but I was not able to get th boots tight. I am a postal worker and I would not suggest these boots unless you stand one place all day. For the price, I was less than impressed by the quality.

I usually wear 9.5E, but ordered these in 9.5W after reading reviews. I have high arches, narrow heels and wide feet across the ball of my foot to the little toe. My heels shift a bit ( got a blister on my left heel) but everything else fits snugly. My feet feel great after walking my mail route, as the soles are thick and the insoles are generously cushined. I,lol wear thicker socks until my feet get accustomed to the Rocky fit.

First time I have purchased a tactical boot. I ride motorcycles and wanted a bit more protection than the average work boot provides. These feel a bit thin and have no extra safety like a heel cup or an instep plate. however, these are absolutely the most comfortable boot I have ever unboxed. Once I replaced the shagwire (really really thin) laces they have now become my everyday boot.

I have worn many pairs of these over the last 12 years or so. Straight out of the box, they are very comfortable and stable. I was walking many miles a day delivering mail in them. I will agree with the other reviewer, though, that the thin laces leave much to be desired.
