Great boots! Almost no break in time. Amazing traction, very heavy duty side zippers, and very comfortable, and they don't squeak on hard surfaces. I work night shift security, and I walk an average of 6 to 15 miles per night. These boots were comfortable right out of the box, and Tactical Gear got them here fast. These boots are at least the quality of Danner boots (if not more) and so far, I'm much more satisfied with them than the last pair of 5.11's I bought. Hopefully they last more than a few months.

I love these boots enough I am on my second pair. I am tough on boots at my job. I wear the soles out very fast jumping in and out of an ambulance all day and night. These boots hold up well and keep my feet dry. The zipper is great for the late night call outs. My first pair lasted about 16 months and they finally started to leak a little.

No to the down side. I have had my new boots about 2 months and am now have the exact same problem as I had with my first pair. The leather flap that snaps over the zipper ripped right off on the left boot. My first pair of boots it lasted about 3 months. Now this one in two months. Not a problem on my right boot.

I do have to order these boots in wide size even though every other boot and shoe I have I wear in regular size.

This is my 2nd pair and just as good as the 1st. They take a little time to break in but after that, very comfortable throughout with excellent ankle support. The new zipper cover is an improvement as the previous version used a leather flap that tended to tear off over time.

I love these boots. The side zip makes putting them on/ taking them off very easy. I purchased them mainly to use for fishing (trucking through mud, rocks, and shallow water) and they perform so well, I just hose them off when I get home, and continue wearing them all day. I do have to agree with another customer here, they do seems sized a bit on the small side. I have worn 11.5 boots for over 15 years now, and this was the first pair that felt tight, not uncomfortable, but enough that I will order 12's next time, although I think that won't be for a while.

I absolutely loved these boots, and the shoe itself held together great the entire time i owned them. However, a couple weeks ago, i was out hunting, and i heard something pop when i was walking, but when i got back to the truck, i noticed that the zipper had been completely destroyed, i figured out that one connection had popped stripping the entire zipper. I took it to a shoe repairman, but he said it would be better just to get new ones, so i would recommend skipping the zipper on these. but otherwise, great boots.

Sadly, my husband's wide foot couldn't fit at the ankle without undue force. Once it was on his foot, the wide wasn't wide enough. We love Rocky boots, so he was very disappointed that his 54 year old feet were growing wider and no longer would fit. The wonderful folks in Customer Service made our return simple. We'll buy here again!

I thought it was going to be just like my old boots !! However the New Boots were more Detailed and you can actually unzip and pull the Boots off and put the Boots back on without unlacing them like I had to with my old Boots !!!

I work at a dog trainer and this brand of shoes were reccomend to me by a coworker. I found the SZ and WP feature to be a must in my line of work. The worked great for the first year, but as soon as a year of wearing them every day for work the sole of the shoe began to come apart. I do get water sprayed on my shoes but I was under the impression that WP meant WATER PROOF. I'm very dissapointed in this brand for not making boots last more than a year.

I'm somewhat disappointed with these boots. Good traction. Good shock absorbtion. Easy on/off with side zipper. The disappointment come in 3 ways. 1.)Sizing seems to run a bit small. 2.)These boots aren't supposed to be insulated but they feel like they are. Too hot above 50-55 degrees. 3.)Not supposed to have saftey toe but feel like they do and I can't wear saftey toe boots. Generally, I'm usually pleased with Rocky boots but not this time.

They look sharp, but don't feel sharp. My heels for some reason seem to go inwards. It could be just me, but I never had a boot do this. Other than that good so far, I have been wearing them for duty for about a week or so.
