They're just what I need in a boot. I crushed my heals in 03 aND have worn prosthetics ever since not to mention work boots 365 day a year foround ankle support. These Rocky boots with such a comfortable arch and very conforming insole, I leave my prosthetics at home. Not to mention the composite toe which is very protective doesn't have near the weight of steel and definitely keeps the toes warmer especially with 600 grains of gortex. Thanks

The leather was a little stiff at first may take a while to break them in. Good quality leather is like that. I added an insole because I like the extra padding other than that they are light, warm and comfortable.
