Designed by soldiers for soldiers, the Rocky C7 Trainer is prepared for the wear and tear of duty. To limit fatigue, these boots are extra light, weighing less than 15 ounces per boot. A Vibram rubber outsole gives you aggressive traction and stability when on the move, and the memory foam OrthoLite insole delivers superior comfort. OrthoLite offers multiple benefits, including moisture management and an antimicrobial function to keep your feet fresh and dry. These boots also feature a padded collar for added cushion and superior breathability, so your feet stay cool. The speed lace eyelets and NATO hooks ensure you can get the boots on and off in a flash, while triple stitching extends the life of these boots. In the C7 Trainer, you get the flexibility and support you need to get the job done.

I’ve been wearing these for about five days now. My first impression was that they were going to be durable and lightweight. They are most definitely light but as far as comfort, I think Rocky could’ve put more time in creating the sole. The sole is hard and if you’re walking on concrete/asphalt most of the time, I would NOT buy these. The only thing comfortable about these boots is the insole. We are in the field until mid May so these should be well broken in by then. The eyelets on the top of my feet kept digging into each foot. As far as I can tell it’s just temporary, or my foot has gotten use to it. I wouldn’t recommend them for the garrison environment. A lot of boots give with the terrain, these boots don’t. You can feel the rocks under you and everything else you’re walking on. The treads on these boots will probably wear out within 4-6 months because the treads are very thin. Sand gets all in them. From what I can tell they will dry very quickly. The top of the boot sags down as well, and the only thing I can think of that allows that is how thin the upper is. I can’t seem to get them tight enough either. They constantly loosen. The durability of these boots seem legit given the atmosphere that I’ve put them in thus far. I paid $114 for the pair and I won’t buy them again. You let me down on these, Rocky... For further reference, lightweight doesn’t always mean better.

I've had a couple of pairs of these boots, and they fulfill the use of an improved surface only boot.
If you get this boot for garrison, running, ruckmarching, or vehicle driving, you will be pleased. It is extremely lightweight, and works basically as a running shoe.
If you get this boot for hiking mountains, or on rocky terrain, you will probably be disappointed. It lacks the tread to grip any serious terrain.
The non leather fabric will be uncomfortable until broken in, and might scratch the top of your foot. Seems to run a little narrow compared to the rocky s2v and rlw.
If you want a lightweight, light duty boot, the C7 does its job well as a trainer boot. Just dont expect it to perform well as medium duty boots in terms of traction.

Very light boots, seem well made, but run small especially compared to the S2V so if you’re going off that go a half to full size up. Boots were relatively comfortable but you could feel the eyelets around your ankle joint digging in. Also, your foot sits on top of the sole on a very think insole that is the only source of cushioning, making the boots unstable even for a light pair. Not the best

I have narrow feet and these boots are still really snug. The right boot feels great but the left has pressure spots no matter how loose I lace them. There is little ankle support which I actually appreciate. These boots are lightweight and not restrictive at all. I'm hoping the pain caused by the left boot subsides as the boots break in, but for now they're disappointing.

These boots, after a bit of breaking in, are comfortable enough. The sole leaves a bit to be desired. I did not buy these for duty use, just casual wear, and that's all they should be. I would not trust these to hold up in the field for very long. With that being said, I doubt these were designed with heavy field work/duty use in mind, as the boot name implies. 4.2/5.

Got them fast... Have the C4T and was really hoping these would be similar. Not even close! Very stiff and uncomfortable. These were the only pair even remotely close to what I was “hoping for” that were in my size. Very disappointed in both Rocky and this website.

These are great boots, very lightweight, good breathability, comfortable from day one. I like that the tread will not pick up rocks. The size ran true, I wear a 9.5 wide, thats what I ordered and they fit perfect.

If you like the fitment of the C5C's or the RLW's, then these boots are not for you. You will most certainly need to size up at the least. Love Rocky boots... just not the C7 Trainers.

I didn't order these off this website but I just got the boots. To answer Pete's question, these boots support medium - high arches. Very lightweight and comfortable. Eyelets aren't very big so it's a bit tough to get paracord laced through smoothly. Otherwise I love these boots. Break in period is a bit rough. I suggest buying 1/2 size down.
