The upper of the Rocky Creek Bottom has been built from full-grain leather; the material is soft to the touch but it's so durable that it is able to sustain the outdoors. The tongue will prevent small matter from getting down into the footwear and the boot's lace-up design lets you change the fit to your liking. What distinguishes this men's Hiker from all the others on the market is its GORE-TEX fabric. By having this particular fabric, these boots will be windproof, breathable and most importantly, waterproof. Regardless of your location and the weather conditions, this feature will keep your feet dry and comfortable.Think of how painful it is to walk barefoot up and down a road that is covered with jagged rocks, now image how much pain you would be in if you continued into the woods. This boot's EVA midsole is great; it protects your feet with its cushioning, which prevents you from feeling intense pain as you walk throughout the wilderness. Internally, there is a cushioned footbed (made from polyurethane) that will make walking in these boots all the more comfortable.Having the LightTrac rubber outsole on the bottom of this boot is perfect; it is lightweight, so you won't feel as if you are being weighed down by these outdoor boots. It also provides flexibility and traction, which is great for when you're walking on uneven terrain.

I am a fan of the brand, having had Rocky hunting boots in the past. I'm sorry but they missed the mark on this boot. The side shoelace holders are mounted on a rigid metal (or hard plastic) plate that presses into your ankle bone and causes major discomfort. If you want to lace these boots all the way up, they are very uncomfortable. Moreover, the boots do not have enough padding inside to shield your ankle bone from the hard plate on the side. I will be seeking a refund to choose another boot.

The site did ship them quickly.

These boots are typical Rocky quality. Very Comfortable, although I would have gotten the next 1/2 size up if it was available. Soles have great grip, good insoles absorb shock and Gore Tex makes them waterproof.

Wore these right out of the box to work, and after 8 hours on my feet, the boots (and my feet) felt great. Put looks, feel and comfort in the same boot and you've hit the "Trifecta"!
Thank you.

Haven't really had a chance to break them in, with the Covid19 hanging around. I like how they protect my ankles.
