When you’re in the hot and wet, or it’s just so hot you’re making your own wet, you need a boot that can effectively move water away from your feet and let air in to cool you down. The Rocky S2V Predator Military 8 Inch AR 670-1 Boot features drainage vents with advanced S2V sieve technology that effectively push water out while pulling air in. Combine that with the Dri-Lex moisture wicking lining and the Rocky Air Port perforated footbed and you can quickly walk these boots and your feet dry. The uppers are made from flash and water resistant leather and Cordura with a PTFE coating for flame resistance and the sole is Vibram with proprietary high walls for extra protection and durability.

I have been looking at buying the s2v boot for a few years now but couldn’t bring myself to spend over $200 for them. I got these on sale and man oh man are they the best boots I’ve put my feet into! Great build and so comfortable. I haven’t worn them in hard conditions yet so I haven’t fully put them to the test. But I’m betting they will pass with flying colors! Rocky did good on these.

When I bought these boots I didn't realize they weren't made in the US like the original S2V that I have grown to love. These are much stiffer and the out-of-the-box comfort isn't quite there like the original. Where my first pair of S2V's were like stepping into a cloud, these are much more snug and created some hot spots that took about a week or so to break in. They are definitely well made and seem just as rugged, but time will tell. I am definitely happy with these boots, but we'll see how they hold up in the long run compared to their US-made counterparts.

These predators are superior to the regular s2v’s. No break in time. Feel cooler to the feet. The s2v regular are a little warm. They fixed the heel with a little padding so there is no rubbing or discomfort. Can walk in these all. Day. Just amazing boots!! True to size.

I bought these because I have a black pair I really like. Unfortunately these seem to run smaller than the black ones so I had to return them and consider trying a larger size. As always this site's service and price was the best.

Boots are decent at best. Iv put 34 miles on them over the past 2 weeks. Leather is very stiff especially over the top of toe knuckles. Soles are not super comfortable, after about 8 miles my feet really start to feel it. I bought these specifically for a marathon and i doubt they will cut it..

On the plus side, they are very well made and protect the foot well.

I do not recommend this boot for anyone serious about long range movements

Very comfortable out of the box. Still require a break-in period, but I can tell it will not take much time. My Bellevilles were 11.5, but had to get size 12 in Rocky. So far these are much better than Bellevilles, though. Probably should give it a 5 star, but I am very critical.

This boot felt so comfortable and unlike other boots including the standard issues boots in my branch, these hug my ankles and soles of me feet very well! I can tell I’ll be able to withstand wearing these for long periods of time. I’m super glad I found these!

The Rocky S2V Predator Hot Weather boots are a solid product by Rocky. For the price you get more than your moneys worth. I've been enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserve for 5 years and I'm also in officer training. These boots have served me well. I wear them when I'm training in the field as well as when I'm just going about my day. I have put these boots through hell and back with more than 10, 12 mile ruck marches and these boots have not worn down a bit. I prefer my boot to fit snug and perfectly, so I went a half size down from what I usually wear, and I've never had an issue with blisters or sores on my feet. When you first get them, they will be very very stiff, so you have to out and get them dirty and wet, and then let them dry in the sun to break them in. Once you break them in, they feel more like a sock than a boot. They fit like a glove. Hands down the best boot on the market.

Great fit, they were comfortable out of the box. They needed a little break I n so I went to the local river, got them soaking wet, and walked them dry. Loved how the water came right out of the inside through the drains.
Went for a six mile hike the next day with no issues. Very comfortable. Best boots I have ever owned and will definitely buy more.

Very well made, comfortable right out of the box. 6 mile ruck March first day with no blisters (wore sock liners though). Given the s2v reputation for being heavy I was skeptical of these but they’re actually a comfortable weight for the amount of support you get. Best for heavy rucks and sketchy terrain. Shipping was also ridiculously fast
