Well I had been a lot of research about this particular boot. I work in law enforcement and I heard bout this boot form other members. I have wide flat feet and I do mean flat with very little arch and I was worried about buying these. When I got this a week ago it took about an hour for my feet to get used to them and I have to admit they are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn so far. They are true to size. I will be getting more of these boots.

This boot is uber comfortable right out of the box. Was a bit concerned because I heard these run narrow, and I have a slightly wide foot, but ordered my normal size (13) and it was perfect. I did a 24 km ruck march with these and felt like I was walking on air. I am a bit concerned about breathability, because my feet do tend to get hot, and they don't seem to ventilate very well. I'd say this boot is build for cool weather. The lacing system takes a bit of getting used to, but I really like it. The ankle support is amazing, without being constricting. Not really uniform compliant, but I'm deployed in Afghanistan, so can get away without compliance.

So, not gonna lie, I did get blisters wearing these for the first 2 rucks and hikes. That being said, it has nothing to do with the boot as it has to do with me having flat feet. I would definitely recommend this to coworkers.

Friggin amazing boot. Salomon’s are the best. For what I do, nothing is better. I have many pairs and I will be buying more for sure.
