To put it bluntly, and as the tagline says, these are hands down the best boots I’ve ever worn. They are incredibly durable, insanely comfortable, for me, anyway (then again i’ve Always work very flat fitting shoes like Converse, so the transition to these weren’t as drastic as I remember reading about..)
So far the only thing I haven’t cared for was the fact that the piece of leather that cups around your ankle rubbed my skin raw the same day I first wore them, but it was easily fixed with some moleskin and some wear-in time.
I cannot recommend these boots enough, however I would recommend ordering a size up and with normal width unless you have en enormous foot or want enough room for a couple pairs of wool socks if you’re in a colder climate. I have rather narrow feet and even ordering medium width I still have enough wiggle room in the toe box to be comfortable. And final point is that if you do want to make such a drop in terms of sole height, i’d Recommend taking a few days and gradually wear them in. My fiancé got a pair for her and her brother and within a day their feet were in agony (they generally wear boots with about 17mm of drop instead of the 2mm this boot has). Photos taken about 2 weeks after purchase, being used daily for about 15 hours per day

I have had these 105's for about 2 weeks now and have very few complaints so far! I have put them through a multitude of scenarios and they performed well in mud, snow, slick rocks, soaking wet, dry sand. So far no obvious problems.
So to keep it short and to the point here are some pointers about this boot. These are just my experience, so take it for what its worth.
First up, i have a wide foot, i ordered 9.5 wides (usually a 9.5 normal)
-Amazingly lightweight and agile feel, once broken in they feel like a tennis shoe with the strength and confidence of a boot.
-overall construction seems to be high quality, not lose stitches or off pattern stitches.
-pretty warm in cold (snowy ground) until wet.
-The toe area is very roomy with the wides, but the rest of the boot fit about true to size. I like a little wiggle room so this was okay with me.
-the heal cup was rough the first day and dug into my ankle enough to cause some minor scrub wounds. I massaged the heel cup for 30 minutes and it loosened the heal leather up ALOT; the next time wearing the boots they felt fine, with very little to no irritation on the ankle bone.
-Grip is sufficient on slick surfaces(not incredible but good)
-in wet snow they are mildly water resistant(the leather will soak through after a bit, breather holes obviously let water in) treat them with oil and they may perform better
-my feet get pretty hot in these boots, but they do that in almost any shoe, so take that for what it is.
Honestly if you are looking for a lightweight minimalist boot, this one is money in the bank. Oil them, spend some time working the heal cup with your hands, and you have an AMAZING boot. Ill be buying another pair just because i dont want them to stop making them lol.

For someone with piriformis syndrome, these boots are a godsend. They fit correctly out of the box, and will probably require a minimal toe box break in. I went up a half size due to comments, and these will be great with both lighter and thicker socks. I also got the sage in my normal half size smaller, for slipper-hugging light sock wear. I wanted to get a pair in black also, but to my extreme disappointment they are not offered in sizes smaller than a mens 7. This is a disservice, for there is nothing comparable available (that has a long-lasting vibram sole). I give Belleville a one-star review for not making black available in a normal range of sizes.

This is a very lightweight boot. Does not have the cushioning of other boots that I've worn before. The material of the upper is very rough. I started getting blisters/iiritation on the outside of my ankle. The boots are great if you are garrison, but I would not recommend for rucking. Whenever you walk on a dirt/rocky path you can feel every rock you step on. The quick lace system is nice. You can really feel the 8mm drop in this boot. This is a very minimalist boot. I am considering returning them and getting the Lightweight Belleville, which have more cushioning and a more durable bottom sole.

The boots are awesome, very light, and fit true to size. They are very stiff, and I will need to work the heel cup a bit as it is unforgiving and rubs at the ankle (was aware of this potential issue after reading other reviews). All in all can't wait to really break them in and also see how durable they are.
Customer service was great, appreciate the military discount, and the boots got here in two days.

Looking at the boot and knowing someone who has them, I thought they’d be what I was looking for. However, I wore them around the house for a couple of days and that wasn’t the case. The heel cup kept digging into my achilles’ tendon and I began to cramp up on my inner thigh. I guess these didn’t work for me.

These boots are perfect. I have flat feet and prone to get shin splints... when walking around in heavier combat boots or anything with a lot of cushion, I found myself quickly getting them when running.
After break in time (and it took me about a week to get comfortable and for my muscles to get used to the zero-drop) I quickly found myself noticing the difference between my everyday boots (these) and my at home/civilian attire shoes.
My legs are stronger and I’ve had literally ZERO issue with shin splints since I started wearing them on the daily.
I’ve had no issue with them falling apart. In fact, the only wear I see is the metal eyelets for the laces have been worn out and lack their original color. Laces have held up well too. That said, I don’t hike in these boots, not because I can’t but because I would in an office environment and see GOFOs daily so I prefer to keep the boots clean.
I’ve cleaned them once with suede cleaner from the PX and they cleaned up from the bit of dust, dirt and grime they had, very nicely.

There isn't a lot to say about these boots, in all but one aspect they are perfect. But the rigid portion of the boot behind the heel is at just the right hight to chafe my ankles right up until they bleed. If it was any taller or shorter this product would be perfect. Roll the dice maybe your ankles are different than mine.

I like the low heel drop. Wish it was zero but it's close enough. Love the wide toe box and grip of the vibram outsole. Keep in mind when buying: order a half size up so your toes don't smash into the front of the toe box, but don't go a full size up so that the boot hugs your foot good enough for long periods of wear. Not a bad boot for long rucks, but you will feel every rock and your feet will get tired if they are not used to the lack of cusion

I previously owned a pair of these boots in tan to wear with my ACU’d however I needed a new pair to wear with the new Army uniforms. Initially I purchased the Nike boots but they were extremely uncomfortable and I ended with blisters on both of my heels. I purchased these boots and just like my previous pair, they fit comfortably straight out of the box without any breaking in. Solid purchase and well worth the money.
