Men's Thorogood 8" Trooper Jump Side-Zip Boots Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

I've been wearing them for only a week or so, so I cannot say how they are long-term. I got these becasue i loke the styel, amd bwong a female with a size 6 mens, it's hard to fond boots in my size. I do have some issues with them so far.

The tongue is folded weird and rubs on my ankles, no matter how loose or tight I make them. I have started to get red marks after the day is over.

The soles stick out quite a bit from the actual shoe. I can't decide how much it bothers me. I wonder if other people notice it as well. (I know.... It shouldn't matter, but it does).

The only good part is the comfort.
So far they feel like they have some extra support that most boots don't. Which is nice bro bfg on my feet most of my 12 hour shifts.

I probably won't reorder thses again. Especially if the tounge does change.

I took a chance on and switch from my 5.11 to try these. What a change! I need orthotics and these provide extra support for my feet and ankles. I immediately could feel the cushion provided in these boots. No need to polish as much. The men's shoes provided enough room in the toe box with room to spare.
I will try to find a women's next time and see how they are.

I'm a yard sergeant with the Florida Department of Corrections. These boots get me through miles on rough concrete, don't wear down easy, and are comfortable enough to run and move in. Definitely made a faithful believer out of me.

Had a pair of Thorogoods, actually two other pair's. My concern was the size when ordering since I have never ordered on line before,how would they fit, the answer, just fine. They are a solid well built shoe. My only problem was I though all Thorogood.s were USA made, My fault, but they are very well constructed and a great looking boot.

The shine on the tip of the boots really get a lot of compliments and reminds me of the enforcement days. Really comfortable and great for riding my gold wing on the country roads

The boots were received as requested. They are very nice looking and comfortable. They actually look better in person.

Took a couple days to break in, but the cushion under your feet is very nice. They spit shine with just a little polish.
