Men's TRU-SPEC OCP Uniform Pants Tactical Reviews, Deals, Problems and Guides

The image of these trousers/pants on the website appear slightly more green than the actual pants (IMO). I attribute that to poor lighting or photography. The garment label reads OCP Scorpion, Nylon/Cotton Rip Stop (1651026). These pants are well made and seem to be well thought out by the intended users. I am fairly certain the military wanted input from military personnel who actually wear and use these garments. I am retired military so I am using these for outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, etc. I love everything about these pants. The actual OCP camo pattern should fulfill the military's operational needs for quiet some time. I wish they had garments like these when I was active duty. For sizing reference, I am 6'4" tall, 235#, 40" waist, 35.5"-36" inseam. Size Extra Large Long (XLL) fits me perfectly. I will say that they are somewhat loose in the legs and seat, however, I see this as a plus for sitting, bending, stooping, reaching, stretching, running and all the other physical things military personnel do. If they had narrow legs, I would not have liked these pants as much. I highly recommend trying these pants in your normal size first. If they feel too baggy or large, then go one size smaller. Tactical Gear does mention that they run slightly larger in size. You can very well try other sizes at the Post or Base Military Clothing Sales Store (active duty). I am very happy to know that the US Army and US Air Force are sharing the same basic combat uniform.

I really like the pants. Print and fabric is really nice, however the waist is too small. I’ve got the blouse the bottom of the pants. To make sure I can used the bottom pocket I had to purchase longer pants but was supprises when the pants barely fit my waste. When I ordered the pants the Tactical Gear bluf stated that “the pants run a little big. “ I ordered true to size with the hope of room to grow but was disappointed.

The material is really good and there is no difference between AAFES and this product. The size chart is off though and now i’m SOL. The large regular is like a Parachute and I tried to wash and dry them and nothing. Looks like I’ll have to try and sell these since I took the tag off. So now gotta buy another pair of pants unfortunately.

Purchased two Large Regular pants, which is my normal size, but both are about an inch wider on the pant leg openings compared to the Clothing Sales OCP large regulars, which I tried on and compared by overlapping them on a bench. Due to this, these pants are way baggier than the Clothing Sales ones. I think I might have to get them tailored so I don't look like a dirt bag. But, other than that they are excellent! The scorpion design is on point with the ones they sell on base.

I ordered these in the same size as my AFES brand and they’re about 2 sizes smaller than them. I held them up to my regular large and they looked like mediums. Unfortunately I already had the elastic bands added before trying on, go figure. Buy a size up or get em at AFES.

I have received my pants and tried on for size. They run true to size, even though the website site said, they ran big. I ordered a size down following the websites advice and they were to small. Re-ordered the my size and they were the right size. Overall, nice light weight pants.

The product is well made. Although the website said, the pants ran big the pants actually runs pretty true to size. I returned the medium size because it was to tight. The large was larger than I needed, but I kept the large. There is no in between size. its goes from 34-36 to like 38 to 40

great , but wanted 2X I guess but 3X was received can't wear way to big , need to either exchange or give to Goodwill need to send back for smaller size or just buy sizes till find right one LOL how do I return ???

The top I ordered fits great. Ordered a Medium Short trouser, like I usually wear, and the pant legs are super baggy (I’m 5’ 10”/170 lbs). Same size in length and waist, but the entire pant leg is wider. Not a terrible product, just a little on the baggier side.

These pants were not even close to my size, I’m normal build 5’9” and got the medium regulars, they were like a wing suit, absolutely huge and unwearable, I suggest going with proper instead. Very disappointed
