It went on the gun relatively easy with the included Allen key. I put some blue loctite on the screws just in case. It's easy to turn on and off with your trigger finger or your weak side thumb if you have a thumbs forward grip. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase and performance of this light. It's not a spot light but is more than enough to ID in low light self defense situation. I'd recommend it if you're on the fence about putting a light on your Glock 43.

Mounted this TLR-6 on the wife’s Glock 42. Fits secure and blends well. The switch is easily activated and produces a clean light for self defense. Better light pattern and easier to manipulate than the Viridian I installed on my Glock 43.
