Combining rugged construction with powerful lighting capabilities, the Streamlight ProTac HL 4 is a highly functional tactical flashlight. This flashlight features three different lighting modes, producing 2,200 lumens of light on the highest setting and running up to 43 hours on the lowest setting. Simply use the three position programmable mode selector switch to choose the exact light you need for your given situation. The light is housed in a durable machined aircraft aluminum body with an anti-roll head to stay in place on flat surfaces. A gasket-sealed, impact-resistant glass lens produces a consistent, uncompromised beam of light. For total versatility, this flashlight has a self-adjusting battery cradle to hold multiple battery types without rattling.

Great light, very bright. It's not as focused as a stinger led light but is more like a flood, and that's good too. Im a mechanic and bought this as pocket carry flashlight. It's to heavy, the head was a lot bigger than what I had imagined. Still very happy with it though. It's the brightest light I've ever owned and that's a lot of them. I used some 18650 batteries that I had already and it was comparatively what I would expect to 2200 lumen to look like.

The light is very bright and it feels like it is high quality. I was about to purchase the HL 3 when I saw the HL 4 was coming out so I waited. It was well worth the wait. I keep a small 1000 lumen light as my primary duty light and the 2200 is my back up light. I will also use it on searches and the rubber grip will make it easy to hold in the rain. Highly recommend.

Was playing around with it in the leaving room when I got it. My son walked and said look it's brighter then the ceiling light, and it's a four bulb light and the HL 4 was out shining the ceiling light and it was making the room two maybe three times brighter. A awesome new addition to my tactical light collection if not maybe the best light. This is my first streamlight and will not be my last.

This works better then I thought it would. I work the Graves shift and patrol. Where I patrol there is no street lights so it is really dark. I needed a flashlight that would light up a big area whend I had to get out of my patrol unit. I have to say if you want a really good light that light up your world this is your light....

I finally found a compact HD flashlight that has over 2000 lumes. Also, uses 4 CR123 batteries which are included. It Has a strobe, low beam, and high beam. Lastly, it only 1 lb.

Great performance out of a smaller light, I am pleased with awsome output this light provides. I recommend light and recharge kit offered by Streamlight! Part # 18650.

Really brightens up a room and is amazing indoors. It would be better if it had better distance. For the price I would think you should get the best of both worlds.

This flashlight is BRIGHT!!! And the savings on 123A batteries alone is a plus. Buy it you won't regret it, but get the 18650 batteries and a good charger.
