The Streamlight HL Series now has a hands-free, USB rechargeable lighting solution. When your task requires both hands and a bright light with a wide, flood beam, reach for the ProTac HL USB Headlamp. It can charge on the go using almost any USB source, and since it accepts multiple battery sources as a backup, you’ll always have power when you need it. A Ten-Tap programmable switch allows the user to select one of three different programs, and the interchangeable lenses allow for complete customization for the situation at hand. An adjustable elastic strap fits comfortably, and a 90 degree tilting head reduces neck fatigue. For a powerful light in a hands-free form, look to the Streamlight ProTac HL USB Headlamp.

I bought this headlamp to match my ProTac HL-X flashlight: Duel Fuel, Programmable and its very bright. It's HEAVY. Be prepared to tighten down the straps to an almost uncomfortable level in order to keep this baby from slipping down as you work.
Weird: The pictures don't really do the headlamp justice. When on your head it can cast quite a unique shadow. Be prepared for numerous jokes at the job site!

Nice adjustability with the removable lense if you need to spot something further away. This is almost as bright as the 5000 lumen protac hl-4.

I like that it’s rechargeable but it’s heavier and a little bigger than regular style and I believe 1000lumens is overstating power but it works great

It looks durable , haven't had a chance to try it out yet , I wanted a bright headlamp that I can wear when I'm working on auto and truck repair , I'm wondering if I should have found something with more of a flood lamp type lighting .
