New technology for the Streamlight ProTac HL-X gives users 1,000 lumens of output, as well as the flexibility of multiple power sources, which helps reduce down time. It incorporates intuitive Ten-Tap programming to adjust between three settings, each of which produces a different level of light. The high setting emits the 1000-lumen heavy-duty beam, but the flashlight can be set to a 65-lumen level, which has up to a 23 hour runtime. C4 LED technology provides maximum illumination for any situation and is also shock-resistant. This compact model also features a push-button switch at the tail and an anti-roll head, making one-handed operation simple. The aluminum construction and gasket-sealed glass lens are ultra-durable. This model comes with a removable pocket clip and nylon holster for easy carry.

I love this flash light. The "Ten Tap" programming is easy and convenient. The flashlight easily fits in my pocket, which is a big plus when crawling around the inside of an aircraft where holsters can get caught. But the #1 reason for purchasing this light is the Duel Fuel. CR123 or 18650. At the hangar I can recharge 18650s and on the road I just have to pack a set of CR123. Awesome.

I am in love with this light. For the price you get 1000 lumens which is brighter than most 200-300 dollar lights the same size. You can literally light up and entire room with it. If I shine it in my back yard at night it is like a flood light. Plus the strobe is fantastic. I carry it everywhere and would recommend it to anyone over any 200 dollar light

It is super bright, super compact, you can click or just hold down the rear button, it stands on end, it's water proof and built to last. I love the dual purpose clip. It fits in my duty belt flashlight holder, but also clips on a pocket, but more importantly, clips the opposite way on the bill of my hat. I bought the dual rechargeable batteries, which work with my tablet charger. This flashlight is perfect in every way! I think it's the best money can buy, at least for my purposes.

This is the best light I have found for duty as a 3rd shift LEO. I use the rechargeable battery, which saves money on batteries. I have never had the battery die on me; even using the highest setting. I love the high/strobe/medium feature for light options. It is small enough to easily carry without getting in the way during foot pursuits or with general movement. Small and lightweight with greater brightness than my duty long stick version. Can't go wrong with this light.

i needed a brighter flashlight for the woods in back of my house. This light is so bright you wood be able to have a cook out in the dark! This light is super great!

The Pro Tac HL-X is very well made. It can light up a large area at 50 yards away. I am a retired peace officer and this flashlight is more than twice as bright as the Streamlight Ultra Stinger I carried on the job. It is excellent for lighting up backyards when looking for a suspect running from police or in a hiding in a building. Wish they had this light when I was on the job.
