Lightweight and compact in design, the Streamlight Sidewinder Rescue uses a variety of color LEDs to produce a wide range of light to fit your given situation. These LEDs give you all of the colors you need for a distress marker without the use of filters than can break or get misplaced. Built in an extremely tough nylon case with a polycarbonate lens, this light is engineered with a 185-degree tilting head to aim the beam exactly where you need it. A "slide-in-place" diffuser is compatible with any LED color and creates omnidirectional light at all angles. The aluminum plate provides a flat surface for a hook field, allowing this light to be attached to a helmet for hands-free illumination.

Who doesn't love to own military gear? This has abilities that only the Military and search-rescue can fully appreciate and utilize, but may come in handy if the poop ever hits the fan (SHTF). Very well built with practical use and attachment options...night vision (IR) assist, blood trail finder and search-rescue when and if you're ever in dire need. The 185 degree tilt head is a major plus when attaching to mole gear. I highly recommend.

Great replacement for the old military broke neck 90 degree light. With the option of Blue, green and IR light and strobe (rescue version) good night vision retention. A great all around workhorse, with lots of options, If you want a good light for nighttime field work, this is your light, if you want a retina burner , then keep moving.

Bought one of these, stopped working within a year of purchase, and was sent in for warranty replacement, but the replacement unit broke about two months after the warranty expired! I take great care of my stuff, but I would NOT recommend this product.
