Need a lot of light, but don't have a lot of space? Allow us to introduce the Streamlight Siege AA. It's compact enough to take on any adventure but comes equipped with an powerful 200 lumen maximum output. It features one impressive C4 LED and two multi-purpose red LED lights powered by easily available AA batteries. As versatile as it is powerful, the Siege AA has five output levels and is engineered to function in a variety of environments. A durable cover attaches to provide a waterproof floating capability. Remove the cover, and the D-ring on the bottom allows the lantern to hang virtually anywhere.

This little guy is so light and versatile that it can go any where and has sufficient Lumens for just about anything. It's also a nice feature that it comes on with the lowest setting which I prefer to its big brother which turns on with the highest lumen setting, not a biggie either way though. Works great in the vehicle with the kids in the back on long trips and it's so easy for them to pack or carry. I bought 3 more to give out as a Christmas gift because their so easy to keep on hand. I even keep one in my tool bag since it takes up so little room; so, when I have to fix a light switch and the electricity has to be turned off and their is no light or window in or near the room I'm working. Run time for the light output/performance is good also. There are so many more uses I could list but the bottom line is that if you like it's big brother and you want an all weather all versatile carry anywhere anytime at your fingertips lantern then this is the one for you. Tactical Gear has been great to order from also.

Great little lantern and tough too. The light levels are very useful and it doesn't seem to be as harsh as my old AA lantern in spite of the fact it can get much brighter. The red light is a very usable brightness with your night vision. The SOS feature is something I'll probably never use and would have preferred dual red light levels. The multiple hanging options are very useful and increases your lighting versatility. Try it, you'll like it.

I read the description, checked out the videos, even YouTube investigated it. I was still kind of shocked when I opened the box. That damn thing is small and knew it couldn't throw much light. Not to mention the fact that I ordered 6 of them. I put a set of Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries in and was amazed at how much light this little guy actually put out. I know everyone who gets one as a Christmas present will be pleased with it too. I'm putting a set of lithium batteries in all of them. Now my friends and family will have an excellent emergency light that will be ready when they need it. Lightening fast shipping and the price was outstanding too. I'm actually going to pull the trigger on a few more today,

Thanks Tactical Gear...... Darth

When I bought this light I also bought the full-sized Siege and am equally happy with it. They basically have the exact same features just in two different size options. This will be great in a deer blind before dawn, walking to the bathroom during a camping trip, or even lighting a small work area. I think this would also be a great addition to a hike-in camping trip - small enough to not add too much weight or bulk yet bright enough and easily attached to limbs, tents, backpacks, etc that it can be a nice alternative to the headlamp.

A very nice product.
I'd change the voltage indicator, when green, to a dimmer output so as not to overwhelm in red mode.
Change LED to a warmer color temperature one.
Red LED to multiples with higher output.
SOS dropped for a slow blink beacon in red mode for camp locator.
Change PWM to current regulated!!
Do all above and rename the 'Siege Ballista' AA

So far totally impressed. Tiny, bright or dim! I am a traveler / wanderer. Asia is my fav and a nice compact lamp in a hut, bus or shared space is a sort of welcome calming piece of equipment more so than my flashlights with strike bezels. I will order another and maybe the big brother too. Crazy good gift for anyone.

I was more than pleasantly surprised by this lamp. It is smaller than I envisioned it being but it puts out a great amount of light... in both white and red. In the lowest white setting there is enough battery life to run the light all night for 4 nights. This was a great purchase.

This is an very handy little lantern. I was surprised how bright it was. I have big lanterns that use D batteries that are not this bright. The ability to hang it upside down and take the top off is great. This little guy fits into a pack and weights very little.

Very handy! Sturdy build none the less expected from such brand! Got 2 take 2AA batteries, wish they did come with batteries.. Gave one to my Mother she stays at home I case there's a power outage... Have one hanging by my bedside window for the same reason...

The three small batteries seem to last for weeks on end. The Streamlight Siege AA stood up to single digit cold nights and gave us top quality lighting for weeks before changing batteries. Lite, compact, and powerful. Good quality at the right price!
