Everyone knows how expensive the surefire batteries can be. If you are in the military like me, supply for some reason always seems to be out. This flashlight not only surpasses surefire lights in brightness and color (xenon white like high end cars) but it's rechargable! PLUS you can leave it on the charger and not worry about overcharging. I fly in the Army and this light is perfect for preflight in nontactical environments. EXTREMELY bright and well worth every penny. An absolute must for someone who wants a professional quality light that lasts. I would have given this 10 stars if it was an option!

I am very happy with this flashlight! I have long loved flashlights of all sorts. I have had every size of the D-cell Mag LitesMAGLITE S6D016 Heavy-Duty 6-D Cell Flashlight, Black and various box lights and even a pistol mounted light Tlr-3 - Streamlight. That pistol mounted light is what sold me on Streamlight.
This light is so bright, it competed very strongly against the natural sunlight and ceiling mounted fluorescents in my office!
The fact that it is rechargeable is very attractive since it will clearly save on expensive and dirty disposable replacement batteries.
A little something that wasn't so clear from the product descriptions is that this flashlight not only has three brightness levels but a strobe function. That was great fun when I figured that out!
I also really like that the button is on the tail cap.
Remember to unscrew the tail cap about half a turn when you will not be using it for a while to conserve the battery (that tip works on most flashlights, too).
Importantly, this flashlight is also very solid and well constructed. It is little, but feels the opposite of flimsy. It is an impressive little light!

I'll still use my Mag Lights when needed (if anything, they are a weapon), but this guy will go with me when I just need to light my way, not necessarily the whole forest.

The first day i got this light it was fully charged. I used it for couple of days and i havent charged it. the battery life is a great one and I really like it.

It was a hard hit to spend this much for a small flashlight, but it's worth every penny. My co-workers recommended this light for how bright it is and how long the battery life is. One guy told me he's recharged his twice in the last year. The illumination is brilliant and it totally lights up a room. I have a large Streamlight also, but it is often bulky and hard to remember to grab when you need a light. This one fits right on your belt. Great price. Great product. I should have bought this years ago.

I work in the automotive field and there are lots of dark areas that are very important for me to have too see . I carry this light in my pocket all day and does not bother me a bit perfect size and very bright !!

I work out doors and this small light is perfect for my job. Real bright and the battery life last forever on the low setting. I will buy another :-)

Small but mighty and the brightness level choices makes it great! Law enforcement friends recommended it to me and I'm completely happy with it!!

The Streamlight Strion Flashlight package is one of the finest pieces of equipment I have ever purchased. This light will give you a high intensity beam of light that will light things up a long way away. Sometimes it is almost too bright.

This is an awesome little light. The low setting is not as low as I would like it but the high setting really lights up a dark room. Much brighter center beam and side light than my executive defender surefire light.

Really nice flashlight if you need a bright light that's the best option
